Well, a lot hope IS are working on the next Fire Emblem, @KateGray .... Maybe a collection of some older ones for Switch or remakes, etc, if the next new one is awhile away! Perhaps they can do your thing as well, though?

@BruceCM Apparently a small team was developing Crashmo World back in the day alongside other games, so it's still possible! I don't want them to be stuck on Fire Emblem forever!

If there are any more ports, I frankly hope they do Star Fox Zero. That game could benefit so much from having a better control scheme, which a Switch port would force them to apply.

Fingers crossed, then, @KateGray .... Almost anything is possible!

Playtonic teased a new game saying that we'll get more info "soon". I wonder, if we'll see their new game tomorrow in the Direct.

@NintendoByNature Pretty reasonable list, but they already said they're done with Mario Maker 2. Which is reasonable considering how badly it sold. I think they were planning on making a Super Mario Bros. 2 gamestyle, but abandoned it and made it a powerup instead after it was clear the game wasn't ever going to get blockbuster sales.

@dionysos283 are you confusing that with Playtonic teasing to become a publisher which they revealed a week ago or is this separate?

@Euler Mario Maker 2 sold about 7m copies, that is far from bad selling.

@Euler I mean, to be fair, as @jump said, it sold quite well. I put another 20 hours in when the zelda content dropped. I'd do the same for metroid.

Ok, so I looked at a bunch of your lists. Here's what I think:

• No Zelda. That will be its own thing in a couple days/weeks.
• No Pokemon, same deal.
• Crash 4, Bravely Default II, some other third-party stuff that's already confirmed
• Fall Guys port seems like a safe bet
• I know they said first half of 2021, but I'm thinking an announcement of Valheim being ported to Switch for future release
• Bayonetta 3 update
• More Animal Crossing stuff because of course
• Surprise! A new 2D Wario platformer that looks ridiculous and awesome; some WarioWare ports coming soon

I hope there will be a new Kirby game announced or Wario Ware.

I just woke up i'm dying over here LOLI hoping to get a rhythm heaven port or new game, news on botw2 a new smash fighter eggman or crash, and a indie game or two, yo-kai watch games, sonic colors ported to the switch, Wind waker, I want a lot and we have 50 min to cover.

It’s not really a 2D Mario though, it’s a spin-off title with the focus on creating rather than platforming but in any case it’s still not objectively poor selling.
