Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

@Bigmanfan theres no clamoring for these titles at all 😿 if anything i think itd be another all stars, but i honestly dont think theyll do much for mario 40
@Grumblevolcano surely they wouldnt do a general direct, theyve put out a surprising amount of advertising for drag x drive. hopefully more will be revealed soon!

on another note, im hyped for this indie world, i always like them more than partners! what are a few of yalls predictions?

Shujinkou would be at the top of the list for me. Dungeon RPG / edutainment.

Blue Prince seems like the indie darling of 2025.

Abiotic Factor, because I've been on a crafting / survival kick.

I feel like for a title like Drag x Drive, being a smaller title and a new IP, it could actually benefit from a mention in a direct presentation on launch day. Potential players who aren’t aware of it get made aware of the game on launch day, and those who are aware are reminded it exists, potentially showing off some new feature of the game that might win people over. The game could then release right after the presentation.

@SteveDaSteve I feel that Drag x Drive's advantage is the very quiet upcoming 1st party lineup. You try out the beta over the weekend and then maybe you're interested enough in it to pick it up meanwhile a general Direct is likely to convince you you're better off saving your money for a different confirmed game.

@SteveDaSteve I was gonna say the same thing. I feel like people (myself included) have forgotten Drag X Drive is even a thing so a mention in a Direct could maybe do it a favour.

I have been desperately wanting Nintendo to port new super mario bros wii. I kind of expected them to sell it for $60 so if they had all 3 games, that would be great.

I don't expect them to have a major brand new game for Mario 40th, but New Super port, Galaxy 2 port, Switch 2 DLC for Mario Wonder all seem like reasonable possibilities.

@FishyS wow, maybe i was wrong then! i do also often wonder (ha! mario reference! sorry) about all the powerups in those games that cameoed in other games (who IS peachette.) i would probably buy it, but id like wonder dlc first. and galaxy two would be a joy

It's fun to play the games where power ups first appeared. As for Peachette... she's just Toadette with a crown but what I really want is for that crown power up to appear in super mario maker 3 so we can see what happens when Luigi wears the crown.

Hell yeah that was awesome!!! UFO 50 and Ball X Pit is my guarantee to get, and I have to try out Caves of Qud too on PC before deciding to get it or not on switch

Highly suggest Is This Seat Taken to anyone on the fence, I played the demo on steam and it’s a really pleasant little puzzle game!

Decent indie overall.

APPARENTLY UFO 50 WILL COME OUT TODAY TOO!! I'm just so, SO hyped.

For an indie showcase that was an 8/10 for me - pretty much every game interested me. Plus some big hitters like Mina Demo, UFO 50 and Neverway

6/10 for me, nothing i will get but enjoyable overall. neverway looks stunning though. i wish we wouldve gotten a “one more thing. glad other indie lovers were happy, and now im gonna go hoping for a general direct for next week!
