I know I keep saying about the creative director for DMC saying watch out for february 13th. But something must be happening today. It might be a direct, it might be a game announcement.
Mini Directs just get dropped with zero warning sometimes (like the Burning Chibi-Robo one). It causes chaos.
Anyways, Youtube listing's being updated are quite common before directs, yes. Means we'll likely have one within the next 2-3 weeks. In this case, last year's February direct was privated (which isn't unusual and it'll be unprivated later) suggesting it'll come within the month of February again this year and they don't want people watching the wrong one.
@xpownz Sooo, a mini Direct dropping tomorrow and making old ones private to stop people watching wrong ones? It’s interesting timing as it would be a Friday.

@FragRed The Directs were 13.02.2019 and 13.02.2014 respectively for outside Japan so if they are going the drop a Direct Mini strategy it would be tonight.
Personally, I'm expecting that it's preparation for an Animal Crossing Direct next week (the playlist includes single game Directs).
I'd kinda like to see a Nintendo Direct soon as at the very least I want a release date for Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I'm not in a huge hurry though; my backlog is meaty enough as it is, plus there are plenty of retail Switch games I want to grab.
I don't get this interest over soundtracks at all. The whole thing is on youtube for free already. And if they redo any of the tracks, those will be on youtube within a week of launch.
@Dezzy That's pretty much exactly why from what we can tell. They used to do them on any day of the week back when they first started, but they seem to have decided that pissing off news outlets by suddenly making them work overtime on weekends wasn't worth it lol
I do remember back then there tended to be less or slower coverage, especially on weekend directs.
EDIT: Also yeah, what Rexenokid said. Plus, I like being able to own and rip tracks (legally), and put them on other devices. Plus then I don't need internet to listen (like in the car on my frequent work trips)
