So when are we expecting the bird to spill the beans?
It was Friday morning last time.... although timezones are confusing so morning for some people.
Of course if we hear nothing Friday we have no way to know whether Pyoro is simply later this time, is not leaking at all this time, or if the direct is the last week of June. 😛
There was so much recent drama with that other leaker who was temporarily respected that my already tenuous confidence in leaks is lower than it was a week ago.
All their leaks were still correct though, they just lied about who they were. I still trust that leaker and Pyoro as far as upcoming announcements until they start getting stuff wrong.
@Sigran102 I trust Pyoro if they say something, I just don't think we should 100% rely on them saying something. Granted, I said something similar last time a few hours before Pyoro tweeted so that may happen again. 😝
I just want a COD for third party. Remaster mobile I don’t care. It would be cool to see GTA IV or V. I know most people would say that’s not likely but if switch 2 is really coming next year they need big games to make people want to game in switch for the next year. First party I would be okay with some sort of donkey kong game. F-Zero GX remake would be a day one purchase. Pikmin 4 DLC would send me over the moon.
Anyone else see that the Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition remaster appears to be ready to shadowdrop, with achievements live on PlayStation and the game seemingly ready to go with a patch as part of the package? Considering it wasn't at Ubisoft Forward, it seems poised to be a Direct announcement and release.
@Tayrailbridge I like the sound of Spicy Extra Expert Mode and will be happy if even 1/16th of my Bingo Card ends up being announced. Mostly I have no real expectations (my backlog is still huge and I prefer the Existentialist way in life, haha) but I do really like to see what people put on their (especially unrealistic, very subjective and "not-in-it-for-the-win") Bingo Cards, for it gives me a small peek into their souls and personalities . Oohw and so far I have always been able to add a few games to my wishlist or backlog after any Direct, so I have no doubt the Direct will put a smile on my face as always .
Gaming since the early nin(e)ties and probably will until death does me apart :) .
Looking forward till the day we can game with all of our senses.
Well it took about 3 hours to actually organise but I finally got around to making my Direct bingo sheet for this month!
I feel like I'm a lot more optimistic towards this upcoming Direct than others (particularly with how I put on both Metroid Prime 4 AND Mother 3 XD) but I have a hunch that it's going to be a good one

@Fizza Nice! Pikmin 4 DLC alone would make the Direct worthwhile for me. Same with a Donkey Kong Country/3D game.
For some reason I have an odd feeling that Star Fox is returning soon, I’d like to see a grand return at somepoint (even though I haven’t really played much Star Fox)

@Nintoz I don't think its too much of an exaggeration to say that all they'd have to do for a Tomodachi Life Switch port to sell like crazy is add in both same-sex relationships (like they promised they'd do in a future release almost a decade ago at this point XD) and the customisation seen in the Miitopia Switch port. The amount of free marketing adding both of those would generate would be INSANE XD

@MarioVillager92 I'm actually starting to be convinced something DK is coming because we still haven't gotten any DK games announced in Gameboy / GBA NSO. They have DK Land / 2 / III (yes it swapped to roman numerals...), DK '94, DK King of Swing, DKC (GBC port), DKC 1-3 (GBA ports). Even ignoring Mario vs DK (cause of the remake) that's 9 potential titles, yet not even one is announced.
Admittedly DK Land 2 is kind of pointless but it's at least historically interesting.
Anyways, I feel relatively confident that we'll get a GB(A) announcement for NSO alongside a new DK game.

I'm less sure about FinalFest appearing in the June Direct at this point considering there's no June Splatfest announcement yet and the last chance for a June Splatfest would be an announcement in a Direct on June 18th (mirroring what happened with the Deserted Island Splatfest in September 2022, the September 2022 Direct was on a Tuesday).
I don't think they'd announce both a June Splatfest and FinalFest in the Direct so it seems either there's no June Splatfest (with FinalFest being the Direct presence) or FinalFest announcement is saved for after Summer Nights.
@Ulysses Has their ever been an official rerelease of any of the Boktai games? I'd prefer a collection anyways so we might finally get western releases of the other games.
