Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

As must as I want this to be something I wouldn't read too much into it. Seems like she links most Nintendo news, she did the same with the Wonder direct the other week.

If we're doing wild stab in the dark hopes and dreams I guess I'll repeat my few I've been saying for years. New versions of Wario Land, Rhythm Heaven and Punch Out. Mario Tennis (GBC) and Donkey Kong Land on NSO

Probably not happening but if any of them do? I'm pretty happy

I’m getting a fever but it’s not going to stop me from watching this direct man, I’d scratch and claw to my phone just so I can watch it if I had to

I can't explain it, but I have a bad feeling about this one. I think it's possible people are going to be disappointed. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm prepared for the worst.

Finally got my extremely late Direct bingo sheet ready, hopefully most of the stuff here will come to pass XD

Thinking this is gonna be more 3rd party heavy than 1st party, though there'll be at least 1 or 2 1st party announcements.

Thinking this opens with either Side Order or the rumored Fire Emblem Genealogy remake.

I’m can’t remember who it was but around the time of that Mario 35 game someone on here suggested a F-Zero battle royale game which I thought sounded fudging great. Good call whoever that was!

Remaster of the first three Tomb Raider and the pretty much kept Lara’s look almost identical as the original game.

Other than Tomb Raider 1,2,3 and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD everything else was a shovelware crap fest And that is not saying that it was good

Wow that was... very underwhelming. It's well and good Nintendo's porting TTYD to Switch but... they could have just made a new one.

7/10 it would have been a 6 personally if they hadn’t shown TYD.

Paper Mario is such a good candidate for a HD remaster. As soon as that rumour came out I believed it because even if it wasn't happening it most definitely should. Not surprised at all it looks as good as it does

Also the trombone game. I'm fairly sure it's on PC already but it's such a great fit for Switch. Definite buy, instant games night fodder. And FZero 99 is a great addition for NSO

Pretty darn solid if I say so myself. Year starts out strong with Another Code (this is first party, right?), Mario VS Donkey Kong, & Princess Peach Showtime in the first three months, then we know we have at least Luigi's Mansion 2 HD & Paper Mario TTYD later in the year.

TBH that's a lot of remasters/remakes & smaller scale games so it probably means Switch is nearing it's end, but at least they're keeping the software pumping.

All the Directs this year have been pretty lackluster IMO. Feels like they're just padding the schedule with as much Mario as possible while they prepare for the next system. I'm okay with that though if the result is another great launch year like the Switch had.
