Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

The developer of earthbound is teasing something oh my goodness I’m losing it!!!!!

@Fizza I think they'd wait just a bit more, it is realeasing until the holidays after all, but hey, who knows? Maybe a little sneak peek?

@Blooper987 WHERE?! But wait, didn't one of the leads say he wasn't interested in continuing the mother franchise? Maybe it'll be something completely unrelated, or nothing at all?

Itoi has said more than once there will never be a Mother 4, it doesn't matter if Nintendo or someone else wants a new games as they wont do it without his blessing.

Looks like I am the only one who voted 1-2-Switch sequel from Nintendo Direct prediction polling.
It was sad to see 0% from 1-2-Switch 2 polling.
1-2-Switch game was such an interesting quirky game for me.
At least it got one vote from me.

I am taking a long shot and guessing Breath of the Wild 2 will come out soon (Less then a few months) and there will be a limited edition zelda switch that will be available for preorder as soon as the direct hits.

There should be a betting pool or nintendo direct bingo.

@jump it doesn’t need to be mother 4 it could just be the first two games coming to NSO. I’m personally hoping for a remake trilogy or something akin to that. I really doubt Mother 4 would happen. It could also be a spin-off or a new series by him. I’m really happy with anything at this point

The newest entry in the Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu series should be due soon. Although with MLB The Show being the more globally recognized brand, I wonder if Nintendo would bother to show both in the same Direct?

@Blooper987 The problem is I've only played the original trilogy so if this was revealed, I'd be both losing my mind and covering the screen as much as possible.

What about Ever Oasis, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and Federation Force? I think both Woolly World and Samus Returns are too late with both series moving forward with Crafted World and Dread. Unless Woolly World is a better game, but I know Samus Returns isn't better than Dread. It's similar mechanics in a game not as well designed/structured. It would feel like a step back.

Final prediction: return of nintendo selects line. Some year 1 and year 2 titles included. Hype responsibly 🙃

I wouldn't mind if they announced dlc for the recent pokemon games.

I hope they announce DLC for Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee and no other games. Just because it'd make the least amount of sense.

@NintendoByNature That's how I was able to play Kirby Triple Deluxe, my first ever Kirby game, and it made me fall in love with the series. Would highly appreciate this making a return (though considering how Switch games are €10 more expensive than Wii U games, it would probably be €30 instead of €20 this time round).
