3 stars in Mirror mode and every costume unlocked. I am ready for Bananza!

The only things I have left, unlock-wise, would be Mirror (which I am not too worried about yet) and some NPCs. Well, and the Baby Rosa costumes... but she is banned from our house (grew up on the Wii so have a lore-inaccurate Baby Rosalina is the actual worst part of MK8/DX/World lol)

Tried Peach Beach more than 32 times today and someone summoned Cataquacks, but I could not unlock it, even though I was in first place, weird. One time I was in third place and got a Kamek item with a Cataquack summon, yeah thanks. Something feels wrong and the Kamek summon appears even rarer, than in the other courses.

For some reason Cataquack just hates me.

Getting the characters is the first time I feel the grind in the game. I have fishbones unlocked. I hope you will get it soon.

Kakek's Orb is such a neat idea, but sadly it is my least favorite item solely because of its connection to unlockables. If it were even 10% more common it would be fine, but I have only gotten it maybe twice.

@CaleBoi25, I agree that the Kamek item is a decent idea (albeit slightly annoying since, if I'm picking a character, it suddenly being changed is not my favorite thing), there are just two issues I have with it:
1. Kamek being demoted to an item means that he is no longer a playable character (he was one of my favorites in 8 Deluxe after he was introduced)
2. The aforementioned connection to unlockables is really RNG.

OK, crack theory time!
What if, after the almost-guaranteed DLC, Kamek is added as a racer? The unlock condition would be simple: get everything else! 3* GPs in all CCs, 3* KTs in all CCs, repeat for Mirror Mode, get all NPC racers, all outfits, all Free Roam collectibles, and BOOM, Kamek! OK, yes, that is a ton. But it's copium! That's the point!

i was rlly hoping for a surprise update for Mario Kart World with DK characters and more costumes soon, but none yet 🙁 surely they will? its weird that dk has ONE outfit.
@CaleBoi25 thats actually a pretty good idea, thatd be awesome. although thatd be kinda like gold mario, and i miss the metal variants.

@OctolingKing13 maybe the DK update will shadow drop tmrw? I gotta hold out hope... Also, 100% second you signature, why is Ninji not here yet?! Swap her out for Coincoffer, AFAIK nobody likes him outside of being a meme anyway!

@CaleBoi25 HOPEFULLY IT WILL 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼also yes im so desperate to play as ninji. hes in MARIO PARTY but not mario kart? maybe his arms are too short? but then coin coffer doesnt have any! the mario kart developers made a big mistake there. justice for ninji.

@OctolingKing13 I wont get my hopes up too high, esp. since DKB will be all I play for a while, but I really do want free (and maybe paid) DLC for World. Charas, karts, fits... And even continents/islands/something for new tracks, on the paid side of things!

Finally decided to try out the discord server so I could play online again, and it was a ton of fun! Definitely recommend to anyone. Would even prefer it if the update never happened tbh.

Yes, unlocked every character! Only thing left for me to do are the time trials. But those can wait until I finish Bananza.

those requirements are rough. Thankfully, I don't think Nintendo would even consider something like that for a Mario Kart game.
