Recently the pre order for Final Fantasy 7 Remake went live on the eshop. Where the price should be I saw ‘purchased’. I haven’t bought this game or plan to having played it on the PS4. I clicked on to the next page and saw a box that said ‘dowload virtual game card’ which I pressed.
10 minutes later my Switch 2 had downloaded the original PS1 FF7 that I had bought for £7.99 several years ago. I wonder if Nintendo has confused the 2 games and this could cause problems for anyone preordering and ending up with the original game?
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
@MrGawain best guess is that the page isn't fully live yet, the games not out for a while plus it looks like your going for the digital version so it's not like you can miss out on pre-ordering it
i suggest you check back in a few days to see if it's been fixed
"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"
"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!
I'm getting the same thing. Bought the original FF7 ages back for Switch, and the remake is showing as purchased for me. Clicking on show game card brings up the OG game. I was worried I'd been hacked or accidentally bought something but it's clearly an error. Sure it'll be fixed soon, I can't see them giving us the remake for free by accident!
