Is anybody else eagerly awaiting news on the FF14 Switch 2 edition?

Yoshida of Sqaure Enix said in an interview in January 2026 that we can “look forward to” a Switch 2 port of the highly regarded MMO.

I’ve heard rumblings that we could get news at the NA FanFest 2026 (April 24/25th), as this is when they announced the Xbox Series edition.

What do people think, is that realistic or are we still a while off? Any thoughts appreciated or just general hype!
