Just wondering if anyone is using a Switch 2 on a very large display docked like a projector and if any DLSS artifacts become more obvious or other visual issues? My wii u and switch looked decent on a TV but when I used a projector the lower resolution of some games and a few other issues were much more noticeable like dynamic scaling and aliasing. In contrast on the Switch's own screen the image looked sharp and clean pretty much especially the lite models. Does DLSS get worse the bigger the screen. The game with the biggest DLSS issues seems to be that wipeout style racer and has anyone tried that in both DLSS and pure mode on a big screen? I'm wondering if DLSS was noticeably worse in that situation.
You need to list what projector system your using if you want others to verify this situation as well.
I have a few projectors, an older Epson 720p 3D LCD projector but also a few Amazon cheapies that are 1080p native but were only 20-30 pounds. Projectors have moved on so much that even these cheap projectors can give decent results although input lag can be an issue with some of them but no worse than some high end TVs. I don't have anything high end with regard projectors but they can give amazing results with pc games and other consoles. However they do tend to highlight the failings of some consoles image quality so was interested to see how the Switch 2 stacks up when you have an image lets say seven foot across.
It’s very likely you’re experiencing artifacts and other nasty video phasing because at lower resolutions the Nintendo Switch 2 outputs 120fps or VRR. Having an HDR 10 signal input is keeping me personally from the 4K experience with my Vava projector.

I may have remembered wrongly but I don't think the Switch 2 can output VRR via HDMI that is only for the portable screen where as you can of course get HDR out of it via hdmi but you can't in reality on the portable screen as the screen doesn't meet the HDR specification even though Nintendo sells it as a HDR screen. So I guess without VRR on hdmi some games can't run at 40fps VRR so maybe there isn't a performance mode docked, not sure how it works but at least you can have HDR output if your TV or projector supports it. None of my projectors offer HDR but one is quite bright but I guess just can't offer the necessary contrast.
