Topic: Miitomo Discussion

If anyone has a second smart device, you can download Miitomo onto it, create an alternate Mii, then go to your real Miitomo (on your primary smart device) and add your alternate Mii as a friend "Face-to-face". This will give you +100 points for adding a friend via "face-to-face" without having to actually do it.

I still have my old cell phone and that's how I was able to do it.

I was wondering about this earlier on and can confirm that Miitomo is draining the battery quite hard. I installed it on a Nexus 6P with a nearly fully charged battery and played around with it for perhaps a little over an hour straight, 90minutes tops, and battery was at around 51%. This surely isnt normal but the appstore already has numerous complaints about it anyway....

Nintendo must have been testing it on some tablet powered by a nuclear plant before releasing it.

My Galaxy S5 has been doing great. I haven't been playing it for extended amount of time. Just 10 minutes here and there, and I am still at 40% which is my usual for a day.

Not impressed with the fact that it crashed on rooted phones on launch.

If you go to Settings there is a power-saving mode you can enable, might help you out.

So...no one knows what the candy is for? o.o

Finally got a black cat for my mii on the last game ticket!

For some reason my game doesn't find the second phone when using the face-to-face thing.
Is there something we're doing wrong?
Edit: Never mind. After 100 of tries it worked.

@DefHalan: My samsung galaxy s4 mini is already updated but I still can't get Miitomo. Heck, I can't even download it through PC......is the game region locked?

@Undead_terror: Congrats! Did you get the cat from the Drop minigame? If so, would you mind sharing where you dropped your Mii at the top to get it? I want the cat too, but I keep landing in the candy at the bottom. XD Thanks!

@Blue_Blur: It's difficult, what I did was move the drop slightly to the left, waited for the bottom arrow thing that bounces ur mii somewhere to be heading towards the right, and once your miis head is aimed rightwards, drop, the head should fall on the platform, but watch out as the body could drag you off the platforum!

Too bad you couldn't actually add friends, or am I missing something, because I got a big list of recommendations, yet certain people I want to add isn't on the list.

@Undead_terror: Thanks for the advice! I managed to get the sweater, so I'll take it! Hopefully I'll be able to get the cat if more tickets are given out tomorrow. (I think it said free tickets all this week, or at least I hope so!)

I actually got another free ticket for getting to level 2 in fashion, and got the cat!! Thanks for the tip again, it worked that time!

@AlternateButtons: It's a pretty intensive app, my phone heats up too. But do try restarting your phone; I had to do that a few times.

I do think eventually they should allow you to pick a topic(s) for questions, so you don't get too many questions you don't care about. But, good enough for now.

@AlternateButtons: Well this is Nintendo's first mobile app after all. They do prefer to work with their own hardware. That being said, there should be lower-res settings or something like that. Perhaps eventually they'll update. (Well they'll definitely update it, but who knows what will be updated...)
