I think if we don't get Mario Kart World tomorrow, we're not going to see it for a while.
So I'll say that alongside, ....I don't know....Donkey Kong Country Returns??
I feel like they'll do something fairly substantial after the fortnight gap (even though TOTK was very substantial)

Hope everyone who picked up the Switch 2 is having a great time with it so far!

@Nintoz I would love the MKWorld soundtrack to be here, the remixes/covers from Free Roam are so fantastic and would be perfect for the app. However we don't have any precedent of Nintendo putting soundtracks on the app to time with their first release. We are at the start of a new generation though so ... Maybe?

I do think it will be a Mario Universe game though as it's been almost 2 months now.
I'm going with New Super Mario Bros DS/Wii as those platforms are heavily underrepresented.

My prediction is F-Zero GX, all the 1st party Switch 2 launch stuff has some kind of Nintendo Music representation except that and Welcome Tour.

Hmm, tough one this week, I’m going to say either Mario Kart World because of the weird skipped week, Animal Crossing New Leaf because there is only 1 Animal Crossing OST on there, or Metroid 2 just because

Since we're getting a DK-centric Direct in two days, I'm betting we'll see a Donkey Kong OST. Top picks are 64, Jungle Beat and Tropical Freeze.

I am once again predicting Kirby Block Ball, because it would be funny.

Super Metroid. It’s been a while since the last SNES ost and we need more Metroid. I’m still holding out hope for Xenoblade but I feel like they would want to coincide that with an announcement (like switch 2 upgrades? Please Nintendo/Monolith?)

It depends. It is among the funniest options that has even the slightest relevance to Switch 2's launch but I think completely ignoring Switch 2 to do a Gameboy Kirby spinoff would've still been funnier.

Also the funniest part is that IIRC Kirby Block Ball has good music.
