@N00BiSH i guess? the event on nintendo today shares the same name, it just seems weird otherwise that they're a separate event from the main track additions.
remember; your chicken parm is not safe around me!
also, i swear the tab with copyright info on songs used to say "information", not "intellectual property notices"... guess they finally caught on that "information" makes it sound like they have credits.

Just finished going through the MKW tracks! Even with like two-thirds of it missing, I still managed to add more to my main playlist than any single release since after launch - 38 tracks! (MK8D has 69 tracks on my favorites, but I expect MKW to leave it in the dust once we have everything lol.)
Some notes:
@squiddu-real It ain't just your ears, these tracks definitely seem cleaner. Either that, or we're both losing it 😵💫
Aw yeah, they included the cup intros too! Some of these are really good.
I kinda hate that DK Spaceport is separated. All of these sections are supposed to build on each other, but the only way to hear them together is by listening through the game's album (and even then, there's fading after each part).
The photos for the free roam stuff are adorable, although several of these definitely don't represent where the tracks play in gameplay lol

@squiddu-real they definitely sound cleaner and the reason for that is that for the game the audio files had to be compressed to not bloat the game's file size, and that has an effect on the audio quality so even the cleanest recording from the game won't sound as good as the source, meanwhile for Nintendo Music I imagine they're using uncompressed audio (or at least much less compressed than the in-game stuff)

I feel the same way about Rainbow Road. On the one hand, I'm glad to be able to listen to any one of the various sections in isolation if the mood takes me, but the little fade out at the end of each track makes it so that there's no feeling of flow and buildup like in the game. It's kind of the opposite problem of what we had with Breath of the Wild, where each village's music wasn't separated into day/night tracks, but just merged into one. I want to have my cake and eat it too!

Kinda weird that they did this today, but I am not complaining, it's my #1 requested game
The switch to Thursday/Friday was their attempt to throw us off the scent all along.
Noo I can't believe I let this happen!! Shed guy really got one over on me here! Please bear with me folks whilst I make sure no one got left behind for the board.
YESSS!! It's finally here!!
Adding Carplay alongside a Mario Kart soundtrack is pretty funny.
In the app it notes how "Free Roam tracks will be added regularly." I too, wonder if this means we'll get a new bunch of free roam tracks on Tuesdays while the regular drops continue on Fridays?
Ok leaderboard updated!
Welcome aboard @WeHaveKirbyAtHome
Congrats @Nintoz@SneakyLink you are finally in a position to challenge our reigning monarch.
Enjoy pride month @squiddu-real hope you find your truth and it brings you confidence.
I'm still going to throw out a prediction that we get DK64 this week as I was stupid and missed today.
@AJWolfTill Thanks for the warm welcome! I have no doubt I've already peaked, though, and I look forward to being painfully wrong every week from here onwards.

Nintendo have re-uploaded the announcement trailer and have been courteous enough to only show titles that are already on the service in the "more games will be added over time" section. The Nintendo Life guessing game lives on!
