I have been terrible at predicting lately.

The people with the same score don't really all need their own line.

"Man, I don't really feel like I added as much to my favorites as I thought I would... I think I added like maybe a dozen tracks?"

Like the Galaxy OSTs though, I cannot understand why the 3D World tracks are in such a random nonsense order. It's very easy to overlook key tracks if you aren't thorough!

I appreciate that Switch Scramble Circus has the flagpole grab musical effect at the end lol

Another great thing about this OST: now there's nothing stopping them from adding the two Super Mario Maker titles! I've needed those edit themes in my playlist for AGES.

backpedaling to kirby air riders, the ost for that came out a little over 3 months after the game's release. so i guess that's our minimum target now for switch 2 games. clearly air riders isn't as high priority for nintendo, but i like the idea we won't have to wait an eternity for other games from this system.

i wouldn't be surprised if they held off on releasing the mk world ost until the switch 2 one year anniversary, though.

So actually, according to my theory that they're trying to add all of the games that have remixes in MKW before they add the game itself - they're getting pretty close! Here's everything they would still need to add:

Games with multiple songs on the OST:

• Mario Kart: Super Circuit
• Mario Kart: Double Dash
• Mario Kart DS
• Mario Kart Wii
• Mario Kart Tour
• Super Mario Sunshine
• Super Mario 3D Land

Games with only one song on the OST:

• Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
• New Super Mario Bros. Wii
• Super Mario Maker
• Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
• Flipnote Studio

This is out of the 36 games represented in MKW. The remaining 24 games are all on the app already.

I imagine that the other Mario Kart games might be exempt from my theory, since their songs get remixed into each other all the time anyway. Super Mario Sunshine will probably drop on the app at the same time as it does on Nintendo Classics. Five of the games here literally only have one song missing, so probably aren't a big deal. So that really just leaves 3D Land, once we get that we should be golden! Assuming my theory is correct lol

There’s a flipnote remix in World?

You can technically count it as a 3D Land song, but the game itself explicitly lists it as Flipnote Studio, so there you go!

@Robot99 i guess that could make some sense, although somehow i doubt a lot of these will come before then, even if they do get added that'd more likely be year 3 type stuff.

that being said, mario maker 2 music would be cool solely because mario maker music is strangely hard to come by on youtube last i remember.
