Well finally. As I suspected. Perhaps Nintendo is upset that dataminers ruined any surprise so they just delayed the direct and opted for a usual Splatoon update. But thank you, RogersBase for just letting it out of the bag instead of teasing forever.
@DarthNocturnal well at least if it is true and we are still to get one, we still don't know what would be in the direct. But with the "Smashing" announcement, Inklings would seem likely as a new fighter.
Well there it is. Let's see if Roger's source is right. Roger claims that this source has never been wrong, with the exception of some sort of breeding mechanic changes in HGSS.
Since I didn't have any expectations, I'm not disappointed. Though I do hope we get a general direct eventually, with Pikmin 4's proper announcement. Until then, payable octolings and hopefully a new game mode for splatoon should be just fine
It would be nice if the Inklings were confirmed for Smash. There's actually nothing very wrong with revealing a Smash Bros. character at the end of a Splatoon Direct... XD
Who said there was a direct tomorrow? All he said was he's surprised we didn't get one yesterday or today, and that his source said we should get one by the 23rd, saying he thinks his source is wrong this time.
It is boring, but eh, what can we do. We weren't even supposed to know about anything. If it wasn't for those two twitter people and the data miners, we wouldn't have gotten all caught up in hype that was never even officially hinted at.
