Damn it seems the Wii's are becoming sentient and are now unleashing kamikaze attacks on the human race until we accept them as our equals.

This isn't gonna be a lawsuit for Nintendo... Maybe Nintendo will pay for the damage, but it's not like everyone's going to hate Nintendo and throw out all their Nintendo systems because one Wii started a fire. Literally any electronic device from any company has a risk of catching fire, whether that be because something is wrong with the system or you just have it in a bad place.

And from reading the article, it sounds like his house didn't burn down, there was just some damage to a few rooms and the roof.

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...

Meanwhile, his burnt-up Wii sits right next to his shiny new Xbox 360 Slim and most of his desk, completely unharmed.

This was Reggie's plan from the beginning.

What a misleading article. His house didn't burn down, and he lived in an RV, not a house.

All according to kotaku.

TN: "Kotaku" means clickbait

It was probably where he lived, and having your RV home burn down is essentially the same thing as having your house burn down. I won't disagree about his house burning being a bit exaggerated, but there's no click bait with the RV part.

Anytime all the facts aren't known and then making an article titled, Wii burns down a house, is nothing more than clickbait.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Yawn. The lawsuit is going to be thrown out. Also lol about the RV being a home (in a sad way).

everyone needs to relax and enjoy the games that are released today and stop worrying what Nintendo will do in a year or two from now.
