That trailer was a beautiful love letter with chocolate.

Oh my gosh! I had a smile on my face the whole time with this trailer. Donkey Kong, Peach, all the numerous game references! Gah, I love this!

Very much enjoyed that trailer myself. Lots of love and reverence for the source material (I particularly liked the Mario Maker reference, that felt really nice) with utterly stellar animation to boot. I also thought the voice actors sounded nice from the little we got to hear from them which is nice to see (or....hear I guess). Still very much looking forward to April!

So the movie will explain the beginning of Mario World and Mario Kart tracks.
Well, that's cute but I didn't really feel excited as I knew it will be happened.
Not really surprised.
Also, Luigi's voice was a bit weird in my opinion.

Funky Kong for Mario Kart 9 confirmed??

I liked the actress who's providing Peach's voice. And Jack Black still sounds great as Bowser.

Loved the trailer, the movie's looking better than ever! Is it April yet? Because I kinda want to watch it now, lol!

Not sure how I feel about DK's redesign but everything else in the movie looked great. Rainbow Road and Mario Maker were some cool touches that I wasn't expecting at all. It's also cool how Luigi might get tied in quite a bit more to the main story!

This looks like an absolutely lovely Mario love letter and the most harmlessly mediocre kids comedy. I dunno, maybe the fact that they're actually taking this seriously will make it more funny, I do certainly much prefer that to just being constant forced wackiness (thus meaning this movie might honestly be better than the last Thor movie :V).

Edit: actually rewatching it, some of the jokes are actually pretty decent, I guess the timing in at least the trailer takes away from it for me, maybe they'll work better in the movie
