@andrew20 Yeah, I'd give this direct a B+. It's use was to inform some needed information on what's coming around the corner and tying loose ends, especially in the Amiibo department.
It's obvious that Nintendo's E3 is going to be the 'big one', in terms of information and game announcements. Though I shouldn't get my hopes too high in fear of possible disappointment, but Nintendo is known for their surprises. For better or for worse.
@Frosty_09 I think an Animal Crossing Direct could happen which focuses on the upcoming mobile game. If you look at the Nintendo mobile games release dates, a May/June release for Animal Crossing seems realistic.
I think there is going to be a digital event at e3 and a animal crossing one and one in late summer to early fall for fire emblem warriors and Mario game release dated and for 2018

I hope they save the Pokemon announcement for E3 instead of posting another 30 second trailer of box art that no one cares about.
As well as the E3 thing — inevitably on Tuesday the 13th — I think there will be some sort of Splatoon 2 direct before its release in July. Arms literally releases the Friday of E3 week, so there's no way that gets its own thing outside of the digital event. Plus Nintendo still has a lot of convincing to do on arms, so they'll give it 5-10 minutes on the big stage.
@Grumblevolcano I know. I literally mentioned 'digital event' in my post. The digital event that will predictably, inevitably be at the same time as Nintendo's old pressers on E3 Tuesday at 9 am.
No, but Nintendo's 2016 Pokemon and Zelda + other 3DS games Treehouse stream started at Tuesday at 9 am. That was also before the "Switch" was announced, so I don't think it's comparable.
