Topic: NES classic issues

Bought a NES classic, played it for two hours... Now the controller will not work. At the main screen when you hit an arrow it just starts scrolling left and will not stop. Any suggestions?

Try resetting the system. Don't press any buttons while it turns on.

I was finally able to select the settings....it was like a slot machine trying to hit the button as the cursor was constantly moving... Lol... It's still doing the same thing. I don't have another controller yet so I'm not sure if it's the controller or the system?

Try picking up a Wii Classic Controller, you can find them cheap like $5 at a used game store or thrift store.

I'm having the exact same problem. Every time I use my controller and the extension cord, the left arrow acts as if I'm holding it down. I can't control the game play and can only select a game if I pick it accidentally. I tried resetting the factory settings twice and it did nothing...still having the same problem. I thought about getting the wireless control, but I really don't want to buy another controller. This is incredibly irritating...
