Topic: how secured is the 3DS XL's motherboard?

I'm such a paranoid and I've heard news that the motherboard in the 3DS XL can easily break and I happen to have a 3DS XL which is brand new. I just want to know how secured the motherboard for the XL really is. Can the XL motherboard easily get cracked like that?

It shouldn't be any less sturdy than those in other Nintendo systems, I think your 3DS is fine.

Well, I've dropped mine countless times. XD It may now be in a crystal shell, but before that none of the typical "falling off the bed/on the ground" stuff seemed to faze it.
So for you to actually make a point of keeping it safe, you should be fine.
