Topic: Does anyone have the history on this Nintendo Item?

this was part of an auction i bid on when i lived in Los Angeles....all i know it was made by nintendo in the 1960s, there were two different gaming boxes issued, this one and one with a revolver as the mounting piece.

Clearly, this is a 1960s Nintendo love hotel. Nice find. Be sure to clean it though, it doesn’t have the good kind of patina.

@bimmy-lee Oh man, I remember when I got lumped with a particularly bad batch of patina after a deal went bad. Took an eternity to get rid of that $#@&!

@gcunit - It’s stubborn stuff. I saw a movie once where a guy used a scouring powder called Ajax to help get rid of it, you might keep that in mind for next time; though I personally haven’t tried this method as it seems a bit dangerous.
