Topic: YOUR Gaming Fail Moments...........

The title says it all.

When have you failed in a game? (i.e. Losing against a magikarp, killing your own teammate)

For me, one time, I only got 100 points in a game of Donkey Kong for the NES.

Jumping off Yoshi to try to save myself in Super Mario World. Yoshi ended up landing on safe ground, I missed the platform and plummeted to my doom.

They happen on a daily basis since all i play is multiplayer nowadays and online especially poor judgement and lack of skill when faced with better opponents leads to inevitable and repetitive fails

It would be almost impossible to lose to a magikarp. They have a base attack of 10, which means that at level 100 (it's possible in Pt), its max attack as a wild pokemon is 67. That's insanely low.
I've had many gaming fails. One of the worst, though, was in SSBB, when I was playing online. I slipped on a banana peel while carrying a bomb I was about to throw, and the bomb exploded, killing me, and losing the match.

Wouldn't you have been able to see that coming for miles? You know, with the lag?

Hmm... my biggest fail....

Mario Kart DS Wi-Fi:
Rainbow Road.

I was competing against 3 other guys and we were like neck-and-neck. I was currently learning how to snake and I was progressing quite well. However, I kinda milked it and at the last turn, I mini-turboed myself off the edge and came dead last.

Pokemon Platinum:
Losing to my rival 3 times in a row.

Metroid: I can't even beat the first level!

Sometimes I fail in Halo 3 by doing something stupid, and one time I threw my Master Ball at something when I wanted to use my Great Ball, and I hadn't saved in a while, so I had to turn it off and do a bunch of things over.

Wow, that happened to me as well in Emerald!

Playing Super Mario Bros. (original) on World 1 - 1, I ran straight into a goomba and died. I facepalmed for hours!

Mario Kart Wii:
Playing Mirror Rainbow Road online (I didn't know it was mirror I thought it was 150cc) I jetted off into 1st place, I mistook the first corner and slid off into last place... Humiliating...

I did the same fail as Raylax. Died cos I ditched Yoshi... Ugh...

I hate Mirror fails, I do them all the time.

@sylverstone and metal mario yeah, that happened to me years ago when i was playing yellow, only, somehow i used it on Giovanni's Nidoking.

When I was a kid I was playing on my neighbour's C64. I think the game was called Pitstop. I was putting in the run of my life and my friend was getting really excited at how well I was doing, which was getting my adrenaline pumping, and I was really getting in the zone focusing intently on making every turn. Then mysteriously the game suddenly stopped. We were both confused for a moment, and then we realized the demo screen had been running the whole time, and I just hadn't noticed it because I had naturally been trying to turn whenever the car was turning automatically.

In Sonic 1 I lost to the very first boss .

In COD4 today I climbed up a staircase with an active grenade, because I knew someone was up there. He was hiding, and I didn't see him, so I had no idea what to do with my bomb. He popped out to knife me, but it went off first and we both blew up. Fail on both of our parts.

I've been playing Tribes 2, and I humiliate myself every 5 minutes in that game. For example, when I was about to grab the enemy flag in capture the flag mode, I was doing great, at a super-high speed to dodge enemy fire, until I MISSED and crashed into the flag stand, stopping me dead still. I respawned not 2 seconds later. And there were lots of people watching.

In GTA4 I just got out of a hospital after jumping off a building (on purpose). I walked inbetween two ambulances (the front of the one to my left was facing the back of the one to my right) and a car hit the ambulance on my left, pushed it over a bit, and it clipped me inbetween them, and I died. I laughed really really hard.

i have to say any of the mario parties that have the stupid STUPID chance time , i do all the work and earn my stars... then one of my homies just get lucky at the end, not just taking one of my stars... yes you know what happen. they switched stars with me entirely.!!! i see it coming a mile away. soon as they hit my picture i know im finna be screwed hard.
