F-Zero GX. Trying to kill anyone with a side-swipe on the Cosmo Terminal - Trident course. 9 out of 10 times I end up missing them completely and side-swiping myself clean off the track.
Also when you attack someone at the start of a race successfully, but then their dead machine bounces off the side wall and slams straight back into you, doing a chunk of damage and stopping you dead in your tracks.

In Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, I was stuck in the first little section, the tank hanger, and died every few seconds in it. It was hard as hell, but then when I beat that section, the rest of the game was pretty easy

FF6: Release year- 1994
Kefka's birthday - November 9th
So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle- in Eggman's special gravity room in Crazy Gadget, me and my brother were stuck FOREVER. There was a spring you jumped on, and you had to get to another platform, of course. My brother kept trying to go up, like we thought you were supposed to, but we could never reach it. Then, we decided to try going down...

Metal Gear Solid- Snake Eater: I was playing a demo, and I was in the jungle. I ended up falling off of a cliff within 30 seconds of starting the demo. It was a suckish PS2 Analog Stick. (jk)

SSBB- I made someone else fail. I was in sudden death with a guy (he was Ike, I was Kirby) We wasted about 15 seconds trying to hit each other. Then he launched me. But as soon as he launched me, a bomb-omb fell right on top of him, launching him out of the map quicker. I ended up winning the match, saying that he was out of the map first. I lol'd.

I miss having a chatroom that was always in beta.

I agree 100%. Reminds me of a time when I first started playing Pokemon. My friend, who introduced Pokemon to me, said the game saves automatically. Well, he lied to me. I went all the way to the 4th gym then stopped for the day. The next day was pure horror.

  • In Galaxy 2, I was playing Octo-Army Rainbow Romp in Shiverburn Galaxy. I just killed all the enemies, and I decided to go around and grab some star bits before I got the star. I ended off falling to my death by the left side of the planet.
  • I got 590/600 points in Shiverburn's Chimp challenge.
  • Those electric enemies in Shiverburn killed me once(or twice).
  • Whenever I sacrifice Yoshi to save myself, I die along with him. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I hate Shiverburn...

I pressed the new file button on Pokemon Sapphire thinking it would create a second file. Instead it erased the original one.

Dah, this will work.

Marzipaz

Saved over my old file Twice in ff4 ds (around the fight with rubicante) and had to start again.
In Portal I threw a cube at myself once.
In guitar Hero I pressed the wrong buttons. (thinking I was hitting the right ones)
In ddr I got a perfect zero before.

iFail.

Lets take his leather pants.

Attempting to catch a Chansey is always a fail.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Supermegaman

I got to the 242nd star in SMG2, and I was so overjoyed that I had finally beaten the prefect run, I decided to check and see if the planet containing the star had an underside.

It didnt

I was facepalming for the next 30 lives it took to do it again

Macaronius

I actually shot a gaming system in "Game-Rage"
Don't worry, it was a CD-i

Rayman Arena: After beating Dark Rayman in Time Trial(?) I was so overjoyed I pressed delete save data instead of save. When It asked me If I was sure I said Yes, thinking "Why would it ask me if I was sure?" I had to re-do most of the game again...
Pokemon Emerald: I was training my starter in the grass right outside your town after you get it. I ran into a shiny zigzagoon. Of course it is impossible to have pokeballs at that point...

My brother did that on Pokemon Ruby. Only, it didn't erase HIS file. It erased MINE.

I once ran into a shiny Relicanth in Pokémon Emerald, which is a pretty rare Pokémon in itself and I was looking for when.

Just had another one a while ago. I was playing Myst III: Exile and got up to about an hour of gameplay. Then I got a bluescreen and I hadn't saved once.

Dah, this will work.

Castle Crashers: Used my final health potion by accident instead of using a magic blast (potions are used by pressing B, and magic blasts are used by holding LT and pressing B)

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
