Nothing is better than playing a game and having a character say something like, "What was your name again? I forgot. Oh! Forgotten!"

Anyone ever heard of Phantogram? I just did! And I just found this video which came out (as I am writing this) less than two hours ago! Give it a listen!

Metallica. Joking. I’ll give two, Black Diamond Heavies (two piece alt grunge blues with a lead Rhodes glass tube organ that sounds like it’s about to blow on every song), The Dad Horse Experience (indescribable). Neither are for sensitive ears if you go looking for them.

@bimmy-lee For Black Diamond Heavies, I recommend Odd Soul by MUTEMATH.

And for The Dad Horse Experience, I recommend Flatfoot 56 (their later stuff maybe, 'cuz they used to do celtic punk.)

If you're looking at this list and thinking, "This is nice and all, but I want something HARDCORE! then listen to this. This is...raw rock.

WARNING! THIS BAND IS BIZARRE! AND THE ARTWORK FOR THIS ALBUM IS QUITE STRANGE, SO BE WARNED IF YOU SEARCH OUT THIS ALBUM

Whoa, did you already know about the bands I mentioned? Is this a game of stump @ForgottenArctic ? Okay then, how about Abner Jay? I can’t say the videos you posted reminded me of the bands I listed, but I enjoyed them nonetheless.

I remember Crowded House. One of my favorite bands, Sixpence None the Richer covered "Don't Dream It's Over." Since most people have forgotten about SNTR (or at least put them in the backs of their minds) I can put them on this forum!

I actually do really remember Sixpence None the Richer. I was never into mainstream music more than when they were in the mainstream back in the day, so I have a lot of nostalgia for most music around that time.

Oh this one I know as well. I absolutely loved the first song I heard from them but not enough to pay too much attention to their other songs I guess. I'm under the assumption they don't even need to make good songs, they just need to keep up their sound and they'll be a successful niche group forever.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

@bimmy-lee I actually have never heard of any of the bands you mentioned! And yes, you stumped me with Abner Jay!

@kkslider5552000 Sixpence is one of those kind of bands that everyone will either be like "Oh, I remember them!" or "Oh, I remember that song (most likely "Kiss Me") that they made that was popular!"

Or someone will have just heard about them. I have never actually met a fan though.

@PCkid Maybe you'll like these:

The first one might be a bit too "modern," but the second one...maybe.
