Okay, so at my church there are these two kids who know more about Nintendo lore than I ever will, and there's this argument going on between them. One is CONVINCED Kirby is the strongest Nintendo character ever to walk the Nintendoverse (if not the strongest entity ever created). The other believes there is one stronger.
So who do YOU think the strongest Nintendo character is and why?
Kirby is the strongest Nintendo character, by far. He can eat pretty much everything, overpowers beings that are threats to the universe, defeats dark matter, etc. Also Kirby is the only character that survives in Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s story mode.
kirby probably, he also wins the cutest :3 ive never played smash brawl, but isnt tabuu like SUPERRRR powerful?! and rosalina has like scene the birth and death of several universes, so i would imagine she comes close to kirby. also maybe Z from xenoblade 3.

Ok: For power-wise, Probably Kirby? He's the first character that comes to mind.
But I'm going to be honest, I do feel like some Kirby fans take Kirby's power too powerful to easily; I won't disagree, Kirby has technically hit several meteors thousands of light years away within seconds, using a baseball bat.
but if I do think of someone other than Kirby, I'll likely mention it.
But Power-wise (like Magical abilities and whatnot): A few characters come to mind:
1. Giygas (Earthbound). Giygas is literally the "embodiment of evil" and the "almighty idiot" as Porky describes him as.. also, for some context: Giygas' power grew so much that he could not control it (he had to be put inside of the Devils machine); and it tore apart his mind.
let's not forget the fact that Giygas literally became the area around them, (as easily visionally shown by the "Pollyanna" comic from Hobinichi in Pages 32-34: https://archive.org/details/pollyanna-mother-official-comic/P... ) and also, the only way to (canonically) defeat Giygas is to pray and use the eight Melodies (My memory may be a little off on that, but that's because I haven't beaten earthbound in like a year). Plus: Giygas' abilities cannot be comprehended.
and
2. Dimentio (Specifically Super Dimentio): Dimentio, inside of the Super Dimentio bot, was going to use the Chaos heart to destroy every dimension. And it was only because of the pure hearts and Tippi and Blumiere's love that it was stopped...
but still, destroy every dimension. that is quite a feat, and with the chaos heart, he could've done it. and plus: Super Dimentio was literally unhittable without the pure hearts to help Mario and his friends..
plus: with a song like "The Ultimate Show" How could you disagree with that?!

It’s kirby.
Species that is the embodiment of negativity? Kirby killed it.
A giant wasp combined with a beanstalk? Kirby killed it.
A super computer that tried to destroy all life in the universe? Kirby killed it.
What is Implied to be the creator of everything in the kirby universe? Kirby beat and befriended it.
It’s been straight up said that Kirby has unlimited power in planet robobot.
Kirby is not just the strongest Nintendo character or the strongest character in gaming, he is the strongest character in all of media so the correct answer is to creat a religion dedicated to our TRUE lord and savior, the all powerful Kirby! ALL HAIL THE LEGENDARY PUFFBALL KIRBY! ALL HAIL!
The problem I see with Kirby is with people comparing his “power” to his “feats”. Now his feats aren’t necessarily equivalent to his power. He did defeat some very power beings, but he always did it with help. On his own-there’s no way he would have done wui a bit of what he’s done.
Without the Robobot Armor and the Battleship Halberd he wouldn’t have been able to really defeat Star Dream. And without the help from DDD and Taranza (and the Hypernova seed) he would have been able to defeat Sectonia.
And in Star Allies, Kirby defeated void termina with the hep of all his friends/allies.
Not just Kirby.
Sure; Kirby has some skill and power, but without the help of his friends and others, all he really has is the ability to copy certain characters abilities, floating, and being really strong (as seen in Megaton punch and Star Slam heroes; but that ability is never really seen in his canon stories). And Kirby does have some slight agility.
But he has his friends help him a LOT! So if it was just Kirby, he’d either lose, or have a much harder time against the “demons” and “gods” he faces.
Also, the antagonists he fights aren’t really “demons” per-say; they’re more of really powerful beings.
I mean the Star Dream is a literal machine for Pete’s-sake!
And Sectonia was originally just a regular ruler of a kingdom, so then the dimensional mirror somewhat influenced her into becoming what she was seen as in triple deluxe! (You could argue that she did become a demon-in some sense I’d agree, but I don’t think she became a full/literal demon).
I might edit this later, but right now I have stuff to do.
I think it's probably the three Goddesses from Ocarina of Time... they literally created the world from nothing, not to mention the Triforce.
Kirby does fight some cosmic-level threats though, no disrespect to the pink puffball
