@waltz I wasn't referring to the "billion" part of that sentence. I was referring to the "button" part. These fighting games use no more buttons than any other game

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the greatest fighting game ever created. I couldn't even describe how much time I've put into this game. Even when I play it today it still feels as fresh as when I put it in the day I got it. No other fighting game will beat it, besides the Ultimate upgrade which I need to get.
Currently Playing: Xbox 360: Arkham City, MW3, Gears 3, UMV3, Battlefield 3 PS3: inFAMOUS 2, LBP 2. Rachet & Clank: All 4 One, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3 Xperia Play: Crash Bandicoot iOS: Sonic CD, Infinity Blade, Arkham City Lockdown, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger
Dead or Alive for me. Because it doesn't have the same silly combo system that requires you to memorise a few billion buttons.
Last I checked, DOA has a longer set of moves than even Garou or King of Fighters, which you do need to memorize if you don't want to button mash. They're also actually harder to memorize since they're not the same few combinations used by nearly every traditional fighter known to man.
I'm not much of a hardcore player, and I wouldn't dare play online, so counters followed by a few well-rehersed combos get me through.

I was talking about how I just pressed 20 buttons to do that.
And yes, I'm aware there are no 'G' buttons. See ref: Hyperbole.
And no fighting game made in the last 10+ years is gonna have something so rediculous. Worst I've seen is that one super of Geese's that's only gotten simpler over the years (yet I still can't pull it off).

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Whatchu talkin' about? Plenty games have combos about 3 times as long as that Although all of those games are broken and cheap, but whatevs

I just noticed that YellowChocobo was complaining about comboes. In which case, not only is he even more wrong (there are tons of combos in DoA and MK), but I'd say he's honestly playing the wrong genre for him if that gets to him. They're skill-based games, and memorizing comboes are a key part of that.
Soul Calibur Mortal Kombat (MK 1, MK 2, MK Trilogy, MK 9) Marvel vs Capcom 3 (it's so easy to win by button mashing)
I never got into Tekken or Virtua Fighter. And the only DOA game I've played was a demo of DOA 2 on the Dreamcast. Perhaps I'll buy DOA Dimensions someday, is it any good?
