Really? I only have read very positive reviews of the Tales of Monkey Island serie so far. I haven't played the original four (I know shame on me). But I liked the first three episodes. I run a Dutch adventure website (Adventure-Island.nl). I gave the first an 8, the second an 8,5 and the third an 8.
From what I've read you need to avoid the Wii versions. Lot's of technical problems and lag. But the PC version doesn't have that problem.
