Mine is Yosho (or "Yosyo") from Ganpa's Adventures, an old anime. (In reality, I only discovered him in a comic called "Bossmen," such comic that gave me... bittersweet feelings...)

Your hunch is right (Why is Yosho is so sweaty in my avatar, anyways?), though the general theme is just that: big "boss characters." The stories are of varying levels of tameness, thankfully. At least one of them is clean! (Even so, I plan on making more avatars of "Bossmen" characters, since I like the designs of quite a bit of them. Since I can barely read Nipponese, much less know a lot of Nipponese pop culture, I will probably end up nicknaming some of them with names like "Kyriaki," "Pempti," and stuff like that...)
...but I am getting ahead of myself here. I should check up more on the actual "Ganpa's Adventures series," which seems to be tame.
