Back then every kid wanted to be a Goonie and go on dangerous treasure hunt. See, back in the day kids actually played together with their friends in real life, outside so it was easier to relate. Nowadays kids stay inside or parents have to worry about some freaks stalking their children.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
@Ryno: I grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s, and I got to run around and play outside with other kids and go on "adventures". Would you say I was probably part of the last generation to get to do that?

Yes, that was before unlimited Internet, iPods, and smart phones.

It's just weird to me that you now have to be "old enough to remember" when kids were playing out in the woods or in the mud, or in the streets... that just isn't right...
I remember going outside and catching snakes (much to my mother's dismay), going to the dirt lot next to our yard & trying to build a wooden barracks (like the ones in Age of Empires), going fishing with my dad, and having stick sword fights with my friends. Good times.
Never saw the Goonies, though.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I grew up in the 90's. But since I never lived near any other kids my age or any interesting place (like a forest) I never had non-school friends or adventures and even as a kid I disliked getting dirty or touching critters.

up to this point that's my story.... I had adventures but 90% of them happened at school.... and it all ended in betrayal and bullying and me losing the 5th grade...
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

How does one "lose" a grade.
