(This is a discussion topic. So please refrain from bashing.) The only storyline I couldn't stand was Resident Evil's. Not that the games are bad (1-4 are fantastic), but the storyline never... engrossed me. Resident Evil 5 had backlogs relating to the overall storyline and I never enjoyed reading them due to their poor quality. GTA is another. And really, anything from Rockstar. Lack of creativity is disappointing.

I think Final fantasy IV has a pretty overrated story. I did enjoy its story but its not one of the best in gaming like a lot of people say it is. Some parts of it felt under-developed like the story behind the Lunarians ans Zemus and there were far too many characters dying that then returned later on, especially with how fatal one of these character's deaths seemed to be.

Hmmm....

I'd probably say Zelda. I might be a tad biased here since I don't like the series, but seems a bit over-rated. Maybe it's just me though.
