Captain Rainbow still says Birdo is a boy. When you give him the "object" they just say it's a female to leave it at that, for "her" sake. (You can use that object as a male too). Which is what Little Mac also says. "Depending on one's viewpoint, she is a young lady".
Birdo's sexuality is a female, his gender is a male. At least how he wants us to think of him. Obviously Nintendo of America would change this. So he would be a female strictly. Or sometimes not even mention it on purpose. In Japan though he has always been a male.
As far as I'm concerned, Birdo is female. It's pink and wears a bow on it's head for crying out loud. If different sources say it's a male, it's still a female no matter what, even if it isn't. Birdo is always a female in my eyes, especially because it makes sense. If someone says it's a male (even if he's right) that's fine, because it's still a female.
I can put a bow on Luigi, would that make him a female? It makes sense to me that's his a male, actually there's more evidence for it being a male then there is female.

Like I said, I still think it's a female, even if it isn't. It makes sense to me, and it just seems better that way.
Birdo is a freaking pink midget dinosaur, who cares what equipment it has? What are you afraid its going to do to you? o___O

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Opinions or not, Birdo is a male. Nintendo of America thinks it would be weird for us, so they changed it to a female, and now are just calling it genderless. You can view Birdo as a female if you want, that's what he wants. Don't deprive her of that happiness, but biologically it's a male.
I replied because this is a discussion forum, that's kinda what you do. I don't like ANYONE being ignored.
You could always click on my name and find out yourself, Kaiser.

@KaiserGX: Yet again, I don't care if he/she/it is really a male, I like it as a female and that's always the way I've thought of it.
And I know this is a discussion forum, but I certainly didn't want to argue with anyone, and I didn't want you to edit my posts to use as your own. Not to be rude, but it made you seem like a jerk that wanted to prove me wrong (Even if I technically am). I'd like nothing more than to end this silly quarrel, as I really have nothing else to say about the matter.
I'm not using them as my own. People can see where I got them from. I was just copying you. But as much as you like it as a female, I like it as a male. We are two Fire and Ice orbs that don't win. That's what I want you to see. We will class forever into the end of time, or class for never into the infinity.
Yes, but copying and slightly changing them made me a little mad, because (like I said) it made you seem like a jerk who only wanted to prove me wrong. If only this were a different topic that we could both agree on, it would make me feel better at least. No hard feelings, Kaiser, just don't think of me as a bad guy ok?
And replying again isn't really going to end this is it? That's my bad, sorry 'bout that. Maybe we could say something that we like about Birdo instead of arguing it's gender? I know I've always loved Birdo in Mario Kart Double Dash. Seeing her/him/it paired up with Yoshi always makes me smile. I love those guys.
I don't hate you, I just love Birdo. Let's do what Nintendo of America does and just call Birdo by name. I loved Birdo in Mario Kart Wii though. Birdo has a trumpet voice.
