Dreamcast and Sega CD. I don't have the Sega CD anymore. I replaced the Dreamcast, but that crapped out too. I fixed one of them recently, but the laser is screwed on the other one, so that one has gone to video game heaven.
I still have a Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Sega game gear, GBC, GBA, Gamecube, and DS Lite that work just fine.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
My original Xbox doesn't want me to insert games into it any more... which is all fine with me because I don't even want to insert games into it.
Besides that, I don't think I've had too many problems with any of my systems, besides minor things like a loose socket for my old PlayStation or semi-broken shoulder buttons on my DS Lite and DSi. Oh, and my Gameboy Colour doesn't like turning on unless you do it exactly right.
My PS1 (original model) had to be replaced because the part that spins the disc broke into 3 pieces somehow.
My brother took our PS2 to his friend's house one day, and ever since then, whenever I eject, I have to hold the tray with my fingers or else it will automatically go back in.
My Gameboy still works, but I can't change the brightness. It's stuck on a very bright setting. Also, the screen cover is held in place with tape because it fell off.
My GBA's sound stopped working. I probably messed with the volume too much and broke something inside.
My DS Phat still works, but it seems like the wires in the hinges are in poor condition because occasionally the top screen will flash yellow, or some garbled junk will appear on the screen. It happens a lot when the top screen moves a little.
I'm going to add some more but these aren't mine personally.
Our families Game Cube fell on the floor and had to of the controller ports smashed in and unusable, The broken ports were for first and second person, so it was shot but we got another that is still going.
Also the Wii no longer reads the disks in it, it just let's them sit inside. If we are lucky we can start the open video before it dies out. It has gone lazy but that is done to our little sister shovelling pencil crayon lead inside of it, we only ever got one out and it made a grinding on next use. We also believe Styrofoam to be in there and likely much more. But it lived through several over heatings and still let's us play downloaded games on the system and rarely a gamecube game.
My brother is going to now share some of his personal system failures;
well when i had my first gameboy (still have it) the screen had gotten dirt on it so i had decided it would be a great idea to "wash" the system so i took alot of soap and washed it in the sink for a good 10 minutes luckly i was smart enough to take out the game and batterys then i took it out dryed it off and attempted to turn it on well it stayed off so i took it to my dad and he fixed it it had something in it blown after that ive never gotten another electronic in water because water does not like electronics. also when i had my first ds lite i had played it until the hunges came off and continued playing it although it was only holding together by the wires eventually the wires started to go and the screen would have different colour tints every time I play it was usually blue or red and then one day it would turn on but the top screen would not work and neither would the sound so I constantly attempted to play until the cord would not take it and came apart... then i decided to dissect it and found lots of pretty coloured mechinisams. and most recently I was walking to the steps when I tripped and my gba sp fell down all of the steps and it did not break at all until it hit the floor at the bottem then the left hinge shattered I was unable to move when it was falling but thats kinda pathetic considering I could have caught up to it and caught it and nothing bad would have happened but it did scare my brother because he had headed toward the steps and he was at the bottem and he jumped, lol oh well... my ds lite is in peices everywhere and has no hope my gba sp still worked but I prefer not to use it and my gba is fine funny newer systems break faster and more easy anyways.

I had an old NES that went dead early, but thanks to that Power Swap, I got a new one that continues to serve me well to this day.
My Wii began to get repeated "System Files Are Corrupted" messages at start-up. Sent it in, they fixed some issues, and gave it an internal cleaning. It works fine now, but I still get the messages when I exit out of Netflix.
Finally, my Game Gear's sound mechanism doesn't work and I need to use the headphones for any audio nowadays.
Original NES died before 1995. We got an NES2. Game Gear died less than ten years ago. I had to replace my SNES because the plastic ring on the adaptor outlet broke.

My pink DS lite died on me a couple years ago. I dropped it and it hit the corner just right- you I hear things moving around when I shook it. It didn't turn on or charge. My DS phat took much more abuse than it and it never died. I ended up getting a new Lite as a replacement and then an XL a while later.
Nothing else has decided to die on me. (Thank goodness.)
The only Nintendo console I didn't have to send in was my Gamecube. I've had two Wiis (sent in 5 times), DSi (sent in 2 times) and my GBA (sent in 3 times). Absolutely ridiculous.

GBA? I never had any problems with my GBA (original model) or GBA SP. I thought Nintendo's reliability problems started with the DS Lite. (I am aware that the NES had it's share of issues, but that was their first system, so I'll let it slide)
@tendoboy1984: There used to be a program by Nintendo through their retailers that allowed you to swap your system for a new one if it's still within the warranty if it goes dead. I still have the pamphlet around somewhere.

Well, I used to have a NES and SNES, but one day they just stopped working. They're at the dump now.
Anyways, my DS Lite had tons of problems. I started having a problem with the sound where it would fade out or turn off completely if you tilted the top screen back unless you were wearing headphones. Little sound effects in games stopped playing, which is weird because once I got a DSi they were playing again. Also, well L button stopped working well, and you practically had to hit it to get it to respond.
Currently Playing: Xbox 360: Arkham City, MW3, Gears 3, UMV3, Battlefield 3 PS3: inFAMOUS 2, LBP 2. Rachet & Clank: All 4 One, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3 Xperia Play: Crash Bandicoot iOS: Sonic CD, Infinity Blade, Arkham City Lockdown, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger
I tried running a Wii through an NES. It kind of worked, I taped a popsicle stick over the reset button but a blurry line would travel up the screen. It was black and white. I think I fried the NES though, doesn't matter seeing as I've picked up 5 functional ones through my travels.
Still, I can say I played Mario Kart Wii, on (well, not using an NES controller) through an NES.
I've gone through 3 psp's though. First one, screen wouldn't come on. Second one same problem, third is still alive.
All of my systems though are in great shape (knock on wood). My N64, gameboy, Gamecube, GBA, DS, DsI, 3DS (Oh god if that dies I'll be pissed) all seem to be healthy
Only one. My first PS2. It was a slim, but the heat from playing it so much warped the door so that it wouldn't close the right way to be able to read discs. Every other system (PlayStation, Wii, DS Lite, PlayStation 2 (fat), and 3DS) have all done excellently!
Well...my brother's Xbox 360(s) Red Ringed three times. 1. First one he got just red ringed and died forever. 2. Red ringed, but came back 3. Red ringed during thunderstorm but still came back.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
The only real failure that I've encountered was when my family's Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 started to develop a cataract with its disc lens; the darn thing couldn't read the disc without us tapping the top. Well, I had to leave home numerous times while my big brother had it for his own.
