So, the Warnermedia-Discovery (or Warner Bros Discovery) Merger will be happening within the next week or so (April 5th seems to be the date that’s been confirmed, but it could potentially be pushed back if all of the final paperwork “stuff” isn’t in or done by then, if that makes sense).
In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, Discovery will be buying & merging with WarnerMedia (formerly Time Warner before AT&T bought it in 2018), which is the parent company of Warner Bros/New Line Cinemas, DC, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, CNN, HBO, The CW, and a few other things. This was announced in May of last year.
I’m curious what you guys think of this merger, and do you think it will bring significant changes to the various divisions, like Warner Bros, DC & CNN, or do you think things will stay the same once the merger is complete.
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔

Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
@Tasuki, @Snatcher, @Captain_Toad
Thank you guys for responding, and for the quick responses, I really appreciate it.
Also, do you guys have any other thoughts about it?
@Tasuki
I think that my original thinking was that a topic like this would be considered “too big” for The Chit-Chat Thread, if that makes sense.
Also, I asked in The Chit-Chat Thread about the merger a while back, but no one seemed to know what it was. (Which TBF, I asked just a couple of months after it was announced, so others may not have known about it until later).
@Snatcher
Oh yeah, I forgot that game existed. I think it’s supposed to release later this year, IIRC.
@Captain_Toad
I actually don’t know about that. Would you mind explaining the situation to me? If you don’t mind explaining it, that is.

Discovery made their money by doing things cheap. I think you’ll still get The Batman stuff, but I also think more stuff will be outsourced. I also think (depending on what it is) a few canceled projects could come back. I wouldn’t expect any Legendary partnership films besides the upcoming Dune sequels tho.
@MPSSislit Shadow of Mordor's nemesis system has a patent which denies any game to adapt the nemesis system unless you want to get sued, and that lasts until 2035.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.
