Topic: This November, Where Will You Be?

For those of you who may not know, if you are 18 years old or older, you will be eligible to vote in the November elections ( I say elections with an "s" because this election includes voting for Congressman).

Even though we are still a few months away from the voting period and not even the DNC has fully kicked off yet (although the RNC has just wrapped up last week), this November is growing to be one of the most important votes in a long time!

My question to you is not who are you going to vote for. It is not are you a Democrat or a Republican. It is not are you going to vote for President Obama or are you voting for Romney.

...my question is...will you be voting?

Yes. I vote during every election (even if it's just minor stuff like a city ordinance or something).

Our forefathers fought for our various freedoms, and I think it's a grave insult to take these rights for granted by not voting.

I remember in 2008 how important the elections were and the media couldn't get enough of that Obama and Hillary stuff. Even 2004 was exciting.

This year you wouldnt even know there was an election it's been so hush hush. 2012 truly is a uneventful year.

Just for you.

No. I have no source to find actual facts about the candidates and any decision I make will be thus uninformed. What good is my vote if it is blind and haphazard? Come at me, forefathers.

I've got the body of a taut, pre-teen Swedish boy.

I'm guessing this thread will be preemptively locked.

To the question at hand: Yes, I will be voting this November.

This election I couldn't care less. Neither side has my vote and I've been pretty apathetic towards the whole process. In November I'm hoping to be playing the WiiU as well.

I'll be there at the polls to support my candidate & my party, despite the fact it'll affect nothing in my state. Besides, if I don't vote and there is a bad outcome, I wouldn't have the right to complain about the considerable damage the winner will cause the country.

Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D

Exactly, it had excitment to it, my oh my.

But yeah, I won't be voting either. (If my first post didn't already acknowledge that.)

I'm probably going to regret this decision in the morning, but I'm going to leave it open for now with the request that we all keep it to a simple 'yes' or 'no' answer. no explanations necessary. if i wake up to a giant political flamewar tomorrow, I will not be thrilled.

that said, yes, i will be voting.

I deleted a post of mine, I realize it could've been inflammatory. I recently lost a friend because we don't share the same political beliefs and got into a heated argument.
