Recently got Disney+ again and been in the mood to watch cartoons after seeing Who Framed Roger Rabbit on YouTube Movies weeks ago. I’ve been sort of binge-watching Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life. It’s a pretty simple show and I’ve watched only 6 episodes since I started it late yesterday, but it’s very silly, adorable and I love the art style and exaggerated comedy and shots, which kind of give me Mickey Mouse Shorts vibes. The second episode was maybe the one I thought was the most hilarious, especially the segment “Bird Brains.”
In conjunction with that I’m also watching old 1940s-1950s Donald Duck and Chip ‘n’ Dale cartoons, and I have to say, I didn’t realize Chip and Dale were such menaces in their early appearances lol.

If you’re curious, the character in my PFP is Flippy from Happy Tree Friends.
Just finished the first episode of Pokemon Concierge. This is paradise, like Haru would say. I like Haru, it will be fun to watch her becoming more natural and just enjoying her life again.
Lately been watching Happy Tree Friends on YouTube. I am mainly watching it after I purchased and played a game based on the show, and I am pretty interested in the characters and art style. So far I’ve watched around only 9 episodes, and I absolutely enjoy the characters, the sort of choppy Flash animation (at least in the older episodes) the art style and music, though I wish the show wasn’t so gory, though I’ve seen that the earlier episodes are less violent.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch all episodes though. On the channel that officially uploads episodes of the show, they only have playlists for TV series and seasons 1-3 for the web series (there’s 5 seasons total, but I didn’t see the rest anywhere on YouTube), and on top of that the episode list is out of order and some of those seasons had far more episodes than just 12 each. I think I only have 49 episodes in total that I could watch on there? That’s just my estimation though. It’s very likely the playlists haven’t been updated in a while and that some of the other episodes weren’t added.
I also need to finish Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life on Disney+. I actually only had a few episodes left but I randomly dropped it. After that, I might try finishing Dandadan, since I saw Crunchyroll made the remaining episodes free. I watched the first three episodes back in November and I liked the humor, animation, and the premise, besides the first episode…that was really REALLY weird.
I watched the season premiere of the new season of Phineas and Ferb. Without spoiling it, that's how you do a comeback. It's good to watch on its own, but there's little things here and there for long time fans of the series. I lost it when Doofensmirtz had Major Monogram's phone number in his phone and literally called him for advice to an evil plan. I also loved how Phineas took the entire school year to do his summer vacation report, lol. This show is still clever.
Disney Channel's official YouTube has the episode up now (nice surprise really), but it should be on Disney+ tomorrow.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Started Twisted Metal last night and I am half way through the first season. I am actually enjoying it. It was smart of them to make the first season a prequel of sorts and introduce the characters. The combination of Samoa Joe and Will Arnett as Sweet Tooth is just perfect. I also like the world building they did and the explanation of how the world became the way it is in the series. Over all I cant wait to pick it up on my next day off and see where this series is going.

So finished up Twisted Metal season one tonight and I loved it. I just loved how the whole season set the stage for the tournament and built the characters and the world. Now I cant wait to watch season 2.

Happy Tree Friends - Just finished watching all episodes yesterday. Took me a while but because I got a bit lazy watching the show. While the violence is the main selling point, I only really wanted to see it because the art style and characters looked appealing.
The show is a dark black comedy disguised as a kids edutainment show, but I didn’t find it extremely funny. It has decent humor when it’s goreless and when the characters are acting silly and stupid, but the comedy wasn’t too hilarious and there were a few moments where I thought the violent humor was funny. There were 1 or 2 episodes where I found it was just outright depressing and unfunny. I know the violence is the main focus of the show, but it really wasn’t for me in this aspect, probably because I rarely find violence-based humor funny.
However, its biggest strength is the characters, who are almost all likable and charming thanks to most of the cast being good-natured and well-intentioned. While the characters’ aren’t deeply written, there’s a small storyline in the TV run of the show where they had two episodes full of character development for one of their characters, and for a show that’s supposed to be comedic, simple, and has been confirmed as having no real plot continuity or story, I really liked that a lot as well as how creative the action in those episodes were.
The art style is very appealing, full of bright colors, and simple, memorable and endearing character designs. The Flash animation starts off choppy, but as the show progresses it becomes increasingly smoother and cleaner, though I think the choppier animation in the first season has some charm to it. There are a few special episodes done in a completely different animation style, with Ski Patrol being my favorite in that regard from its resemblance to old 1940s-1960s cartoons.
The writers do a good job at showing and not telling, mainly from the show’s lack of dialogue. The plots are set up quickly (I’m pretty sure there was an episode that set up it’s plot in only 20 something seconds) and it’s hard to predict where the plot of the episode is going to go or what’s going to happen to the characters since the writers sometimes put in red herrings that mislead you into thinking the obvious is going to happen until it doesn’t. One point you think you know what’s going to happen, and then you’re in complete shock when it doesn’t. It’s very clever writing and prevents the show from being bland and boring. And I’ll also give the writers this; they are really, REALLY good at giving their viewers hope that the characters will survive before destroying that hope almost immediately a few seconds later.
Enjoyed it besides the sometimes unfunny black comedy, but it’s a show I can’t really recommend because of its violence, and I know some people don’t like seeing that, so be careful if you’re going to watch it.

I wasn't much of a King of the Hill fan, I watched it a bit back in the day.
But critics say the new season is quite possibly the highest-rated TV show of the year.
just jumped back into watching season 1 of Umbrella Academy on Netflix. going to be bingeing that show in September like crazy along with changing my subscription with no ads so i can watch Starship Troopers and John Carpenter's Vampires before it leaves Netflix
Finished up the current season of Twisted Metal and I loved it. I really enjoyed Calypso alot. The actor played him perfectly. I hope they continue on the a third season especially since its rumored that it will go into Calypso's background more.
