Clone Wars was expensive to make near the end and only got made due to it coming out of Luca's bank account. That and wanting new stories to tell and merchandise to sell. I'm cool with it though becuase if Clone Wars would have started Ashoka probably would have died much eariler on in the Star Wars timeline.

you know what I really miss from Starwars? When they had side characters that was humans that was more fun then the main characters. Like not-Skywalker, or not-Hansolo. Even more funnier is the robots from the series.

I love how the robots of StarWars are the only living record of the StarWars world. I could see the super happy ending, where the Robots Sacrifice themselves and there parts scatter through out space and lands on earth, and hits young George Lucus in his head. Then young lucas basically takes the floppy or flash device that is hidden, plugs it into an computer and discovers the script of Starwars. That is the one thing I love about this series.

It is not about the people involved ( at least anymore ). It is about the Robots who are recording everything in the world.

I also miss skywalkers mom make-up job. Makes me think about this self-proclaimed aristocratic woman. It is so scary that people like that exist in this world. I can't get that image when the actress moves across the sheets in an snake like fashion. No wonder why Pizza The Hut have her daughter in her mothers lingerie bikini. In fact Pizza was the one of the inventive characters in the entire federation. He just traded on the black market ( god only knows what he looked like before he turned into that thing ), till he had his own house with Boba Fett, Princess in bikini, and an whole house mercenaries and servants. Sad how Leia choke him to death seems like an obvious ending for him. Rather then Pizza eating himself.

Does anyone know if the marvel re-releases of comics, the ones with the Legacy tag on them, are cannon? I know the old Extended Universe was thrown out but these are being re-released for a reason, right?

Regarding the link about the stuff with Han (don´t know how to put spoilers, so if you want to know what, check the link), it's terrible. As someone over there said, Han is many things, but at the end of the day he has some honor (maybe not at the level of Luke/Leia...). He saved Chewie (in the EU, at least), he came back for the battle of Yavin, went looking for Luke in the middle of Hoth... you get the idea. I truly hope Disney is not going to screw Star Wars... On the same page, I'm going to miss all the character development that Wedge had on the EU. I truly loved how, in a world of Jedi, Sith and evil empires, he was a simple guy that managed to survive and kick butts all the way up until retirement.

Its pretty much implied that Han knew the character in question before he met Leia in New Hope, and the comic is before EMpire and after new hope.

I'm confident as Lucasfilm seems to be working with out much Disney approval .

Han had a lot of character development in the movies but the thing in the comics is from his past. Han was a scoundrel in the beginning of "A New Hope" and throughout his journey with good people, he because a better person. A lot of people think Han wouldn't have done something like that based on his character development from the later movies but his character shown in the first movie, when he shoots first, is much different. I think it is perfectly reasonable to assume he might have gone through with a "fake" marriage for a score.

As for Rough One: A star wars story: Who comes up with those names?! The force awakens (in my pants) already sounded bad. And now A Star wars Story (or short: ASS). Really bad and uninspired titles. But back to Rogue One: Its about a bunch of rebels who want to steal the Death star plans. Well, they may succeed. But the Death star gets build anyway, so we know in advance the mission will be a failure. Could still be a fun movie though, but I'll won't watch it in the cinema (straight to dvd for me).

I liked Clone wars more then Rebels. So far Rebels doesn't do much for me. Clone wars had some very good episodes, though it got long in the tooth at the end. However, the last 2 arcs where 2 of the strongest (the yoda arc and the arc about the clone who learned the truth). The weakest episode may be A sunny day in the void. I think there should have been more Yoda episodes, with Yoda battling. Only the first episode was about Yoda, and then at the end there was the Yoda arc.

What? Have you even seen the original Star Wars?

I meant both Death stars where destroyed. But then I remember they had the plans, otherwise they couldn't have destroyed them. Oh man, I feel really silly now. By the way: I watched the movies several times.

On a sidenote: Ironically we know more about this spin-off then we know about The force awakens. But of course The force awakens is the bigger title, the one we are waiting for.

My guess is Rouge One ends with the majority of the cast dead and it ends with the first scene of A New Hope.

We should be getting a new trailer for The Force Awakens September 4th to coincide with the force Friday merchandise.

I would love it oh so much if it really was called "Rouge One". The squad is an elite rebel force...that also enjoys Mary Kay parties every other Friday.

I had a joke about "Rough One" as well (as it was also referred to on the previous page), but this is a family friendly site.

Nope StarWars.com said that the NYCC rebels panel will have a first look at the first two episodes of rebels, so we have to assume the actual show will launch a week or two after that.

Went to Wal-Mart to get a First Order Trooper from the Black line, out of stock.
So I got Chewy, and a few new people (Kylo, Finn, and Rey) and put them on my star wars shelf.

So my Wife and I finally finished The Clone Wars animated series. We also started Star Wars Rebels, about half-way though that already. Both series are very enjoyable.

New Star Wars stamps will be on sale on 20th October. The set includes 18 different stamps.
