Hiii
I got my switch like a year ago and have became a huge fan, mailny of the exlusive Nintendo titles. I think when it comes to gameplay these games are simply like best ever. No competition. I mostly want to aim at OG Nintendo games.
So I started with some classics on NSO (Mario Picross, Dr Mario, SMW) and got some new phisycal games of Mario as well as digital Rabbit one.
So considering my preferences what games should I buy without caring about money? Never played any other OGs like DKCs/Kirbys and I only have Oddysey and Wonder when iit comes to newer Marios. luigis mansion3?
btw since ourchasing NS my PS5 is literally collecting dust I even packed it. Have to sell it ASAP no use now lol
@yoshi420 Welcome! You might be interested in checking out the free demos available on the Switch eShop, which include a whole bunch of first party titles so that you can try them out, including Kirby and DKC (since you mentioned them). Zelda Breath of the Wild doesn't have a demo, but if you've never played it you absolutely must, it's basically THE Switch game. Metroid Dread is one of my personal favorites but it's a bit different from other Nintendo stuff, luckily it has a demo so you can try it and see if you like it. Both the Super Mario RPG remake and the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door remake are great remakes of beloved and acclaimed RPG classics. Mario Party (either Superstars or Jamboree) and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe don't need an introduction, if you have friends to play with they are some of the most fun you can have with videogames. Pikmin 4 was very well received, it's quite unique among the Nintendo IP and it has a demo.
Other Nintendo IP with great games on the Switch are Fire Emblem (Three Houses), Splatoon (3), Metroid Prime (Remastered, and soon 4), Animal Crossing (New Horizons), Super Smash Bros. (Ultimate). There's also Pokémon but the Switch games had some issues, though I've never played them so I can't comment on them.

thx gyus. nope never tried it. I have some marios to play first like Im finishing (kinda) SMBW as well as Paper Mario TTYD.
I also purchased Mario Maker 2 for endless 2-d fun in future, maybe Ill play yOSHI in between? Would u recomment YCR? Not too easy? Also, is LM3 more like kinda like Mario RPG?
@yoshi420
I think if you like Yoshi games, you should have a good time with Crafted World. I found the difficulty to be just right, if you go for 100%. Luigi's Mansion 3 is not an RPG. You basically go around in a big hotel and catch ghosts with a vacuum cleaner. The environments are pretty diverse for a hotel. In general, I would recommend watching a few minutes of gamplay for every game, that you might be interested in.
Ok, sounds interesting. I will, sooner or later for sure play this game. Hey how about getting into DKC series? Should I start with a game like DKC2 SNES or maybe a newer Switch game like DK Returns?
@yoshi420
The only Super Nintendo Country game I really played was Country 1 and the GameBoy version of 3. Returns is definitely a great game worth playing. The Switch version is a little bit different from the Wii version. I would say if you can, you should try the Super Nintendo games and the two newer Switch games. Start with whatever feels right to you.
alright thinking ahead of my next platformer. A little scared, than DKC might give me 2 much difficulties/frustration maybe SNES will be first to give it a go
I've tried the DKC1 yesterday, got through first 3-4 levels learning the mechanics. The game seems hard, but not unfair. Not frustraiting too much. Thats my first impressions
Hi there! I'm new to the forum - First post. I'm very much looking forward to the Switch 2. Hoping to discuss Switch and Switch 2 games here to help decide what to buy or help with finding secrets in the games. Also mostly would be great to find people to play online with as I didn't do that much if at all on Switch as I knew few people who liked Nintendo like me :/. I'll add my friend code to my account soon. I love Zelda and looking forward to another 3D Mario. Hello!
