Hi, usernames ameberlan (obviously), and I'm more or less new here (at least to the forums). I know my profile says I joined six years ago but I'm not exactly an active presence in the forums or article comments. I mostly just read and move on. I'm actually looking to change that and hope to interact with more people around the forum and site. Nice to meet you all!

Hello to everyone here. The name's ADistantFuture45. I used to be a member here back in 2009-2010 by the name of AFuturisticLife. With all the massive changes to this site now than before I am impressed with the new design and having their own YouTube channel makes it worth while coming here longer. I am not much of a social person I am afraid to say but I can always do my best to be part of this community by socialising regularly. In case if your wondering about my profile pic, it's Sol Badguy. A character from the Guilty Gear games and he is my favourite character in fighting games.

Hey everyone! I'm new here so I would like to start by introducing myself, I am Almar and I run a website called Almar's Guides that as of now primarily hosts guides for an older MMORPG by the name of Everquest.

EQ is one of my favorite games of all time and is one of the main reasons I love Retro games so much. That's why I choose to spend so much time writing guides for it to help people out who also enjoy the game. More recently though I have decided to start expanding my website to other games, non MMORPGs even. And that's part of the reason I am here now!

As many of you guys probably know finding information for some older games can be like finding a needle in the haystack. And when you do find good information sometimes it's inaccurate which just makes things worse. I have been doing a lot of googling the past few weeks and what I have been doing is combining all the information i find for games, formatting it in a way that is easier on the eyes and of course, testing codes to see if they work.

As of right now my project is only 70 games in but most games have a basic tips/tricks/cheats page that will be expanded on in the future and a page for Action Replay and Game Genie codes. Here is a list of all the games I have covered:

I'm not stopping there though, right now my main goal is to collect information on each game and format it in a way that doesn't kill the eyes after making sure it's correct. After that I play each game and break it apart more professionally, as seen in these guides here:

My website is completely free and always will be. I do this because I love doing it and I would like to preserve this information that way future generations can go back and enjoy these same games as I have done.

Hello my name is pattybean. Well that's not my real name but rather my online handle. Why pattybean well I like to eat pattys (potato, fish, potato dipped in batter and deep fried) and beans. I'm a long time reader but only just starting to comment on articles so I thought I would check out the rest of the community. I am 33 yr old man child who has been gaming since I was 4 (Atari 2600) and owned every Nintendo console or hand held at some point bar the virtual boy (casual, ammirite?!) my favourite console of all time is the Nintendo 64. There was just something magical about that console at that time in my life (12 or 13 maybe). Remember watching it for the first time on bad influence. Haha anyway I feel this introduction is dragging on now. Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to getting involved.

I'm new .. but who cares

Hi, I joined in 2009 and bought a 3DS at launch. But I'm lapsed as I didn't pick up a Wii U - mainly because I had kids, moved house etc. in the last few years.

I've been reading but not commenting over the last year as my interest in the Switch increased. I picked one up soon after launch and have started commenting again.

I'm 35 and I've loved Nintendo ever since I got a NES for Christmas in the 80's.
