Guys.
I will leaving from Nintendolife by the end of year 2023.
It's such a great experience to meet and interact with you guys, but I want continue my daily life without getting engaged with this website anymore.
I realized I became less and less engaged with Nintendo news here, not to mention I have ever said I will no longer watch Nintendo Direct live since I only care certain games I want to know and play.
I'm already tired to deal with the stuffs I don't have interest at all like Zelda stuffs, smash bros stuffs, the rated 18+ stuffs on Switch.
Also, I still felt unappreciated here.
When I asked / posted something, I just get ignored.
Some users still hate my presence here because I only play kids games and hating rated 18+ stuffs.
I mean that's my choices so deal with me.
I will delete my account on 1 January 2024 in the morning and I will not return to this website anymore.
But I have to leave, I cannot stay here anymore, not to mention I got several times temporary bans for my mistakes and some users who still attacked me for having my entitled opinions / gaming preferences, it was my last straw to stay here.
@Anti-Matter Its never been about you liking kids games or hating mature games or even you being you, it was about how you expected everyone else to change. You wanted the site to stop covering mature games cause you didnt like them, you want others to like kiddie games because you like them. Instead of telling people to deal with you, you need to learn to deal with others. Otherwise you wont enjoy any place you go. I wish you the best where ever you decide to go.

@Anti-Matter Hope you find happiness in the coming new year wherever you go. But try not to go out of your way to go against the grain. This site has many really nice people visiting it, but wishing they all disliked Nintendo games and loved the PS5 as much as you is just folly mate lol.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
@Anti-Matter Incredibly sad to see you go man. Expecting everyone else to agree with exactly what you like (especially on an online forum that anyone can be apart of) isn't the greatest mindset to have, but I wish you well on your future endeavours nonetheless 👍

Well...
You can't require the utmost respect and special treatment from everyone when you doesn't respects others in the end... How often hasn't he been running amok and disrespecting everyone when someone disagrees him about the most trivial things.
You can't force your own opinions into others and still requires that they gives you constant coddling and attention, plus a very special VIP treatment for 24/7, while being incredibly disrespectful and rude against others so fast they disagrees you for 0.01% about one thing.
Despite that you often tells us that everyone are all different, and still you gets upset when someone turns into be different from you...
@Anti-Matter Gonna miss chatting with you, I play a variety of games, which includes kids games too. It was always nice to have someone talk about cartoon based games with. Like Smurfs Mission Vileaf, My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, and Trolls Remix Rescue. Loved playing and talking about them because I like said series.
You're welcome, and wishing you the best wherever life takes you.
@Anti-Matter I've enjoyed many of our interactions over the past few years, especially regarding games that seemed to click for both of us. Most recently Dragon Quest Builders 2. You are completely within your rights to leave if you wish, especially if your interests are diverging from Nintendo platforms and you feel Nintendo Life no longer benefits you. That's fine; people and interests change over time, a fact of life.
There are a couple of points I'd like to highlight from your goodbye post that are echoed in other responses already. I AM NOT doing this to be mean or nasty; my intention is to try to make you understand why some users react to you the way they do and, hopefully, HELP YOU grow as a person.
Some users still hate my presence here because I only play kids games and hating rated 18+ stuffs.

These are your choices and what you like, and that's fine. Nobody should force you to play games or read articles you don't care for. The thing is, everyone is different. Their likes and dislikes are not yours. You cannot expect the site to cater to only your interests and throw out or hide everything else. Plenty of people like rated M/18+ games and the franchises you do not. Not all this site's coverage is to my liking. If I don't care for an article or topic, I just won't click into it and move on with my day. To be blunt: you have a tendency of sometimes butting into articles you have no business being in to air your grievances and why you don't like something, or why X or Y thing is better when it's completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. This gets old and is IMO a waste of time and energy on your part. Users less patient (and these days, more active and attentive) than me become fed up with it, which is why you get some of the responses you do.
I will acknowledge there have been a small handful of people that intentionally tried to troll you over time due to your post history, at least one going as far as to keep making accounts to do so. I do NOT agree with or condone that behavior. They were just baiting you, trying to get a reaction. But in this thread? Everything I've read directed at you so far ranges from good will and well wishes to frank, constructive criticism.
(Edit: Glad I used "everything I've read directed at you so far" up there when I initially responded. Some of the posts after this have clearly been touched by the mod team.)
To summarize: You are entitled to your likes or dislikes, as is everyone else. There's no problem at all in wanting others to like and accept you and your interests; this is a common human want. The problem comes in when you won't extend the same courtesies to others and want them to conform to what YOU like and dislike. This is a paradox.
Also, I still felt unappreciated here.
When I asked / posted something, I just get ignored.
First, from my time in therapy: Your thoughts and feelings are valid. As are those of others. Just remember that not all thoughts are true and that our brains can lie to us. Some of us still interact with you, and - to repeat myself - I have enjoyed and appreciated some of our conversations.
I can believe some people intentionally ignore you, likely due to your past behavior that's been hit on quite heavily already. Others do not intentionally do so. In my case, I visit the site less due to real life, so I don't often visit or read through many forum topics anymore unless I'm explicitly mentioned. I just don't have the time I used to. I suspect some other users are the same.
To summarize: You are appreciated; a few of the responses here are evidence. Others who possibly don't are at least trying to help you understand other perspectives of why this is.
I really hope this helps you out and gives you a bit more perspective. I am sad to see a longtime user go, but I understand and respect your decision to leave. I truly wish you well wherever life leads you in 2024 and beyond!
@Anti-Matter We might not have agreed all the time, but ngl, gonna miss having you about. I’m glad what your doing what’s best for yourself and I hope next year is a great one.

@Anti-Matter We have our differences, but I do wish you luck and hope you find a community that reflects your very particular and strongly-held ideals!
I'm pretty sure the sister sites share the same account, so unless you're not going to post on Push Square either, you might want to not delete your account.
Either way, best of luck!

@Anti-Matter Didn't always see eye-to-eye with you, but it sucks to see you go. You shouldn't feel forced to leave the website permanently or delete your account, but regardless, have a great 2024 and beyond.
I for some reason got blocked at some point this year. So I haven't been up to date with some of his thoughts. Sounds like he's leaving though, so happy new year to him.
So did I lol, I can just see the well wishers wishing him well. Either way good luck Anti and sorry to see you go. Know we didn’t always agree but you’re a truly passionate dude and that’s gotta count for something.
