Hi everyone. I don't want to say too much about this, but I've gotten depressed recently... I hope you all are doing well.

@Pastellioli I haven't finished Cuphead either, but I have gotten pretty close before. Agreed, it's a fantastic game for sure. Acecraft sounds like a good game for sure, though outside of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, I'm not huge into mobile games. Actually, how does Acecraft control? Does it have a virtual control pad and buttons, or something different? How a game controls can make or break a game for me.

Ah OK gotcha, that sounds like a good process. Erasing lightly sounds like a good idea since you'd be less likely to have the sketch marks showing. I see... that's why outlining your drawing is last, huh?

I'm not sure if they have a rule for taking pictures, but yeah, I would imagine they would. Yeah, Nintendo NY has exclusive merch like t-shirts and other stuff. They have all kinds of things there, and there's an area with a huge TV that lets people play games on.

Yeah, tactical RPGs are harder for me as well. Only because I'd have to really think carefully on whether to attack the enemy or prevent my characters from being attacked. I'm sorry to hear about not getting Yo-kai Watch 3. One game from the Wii Shop Channel I regret not getting was DoReMi Fantasy, which was for the SNES and was only released in Japan. I did hear it was pretty good, and it looks so cute! But I just didn't end up getting it, and I'm still upset about it. I hope it comes to NSO.

Ah I see. That's a shame development got rough and that it got cancelled. I did see the original Perfect Dark came out on NSO. I might give it a try, for curiosity's sake... I did play a bit of GoldenEye 007 on NSO as well.

@D-Star92 Aww, sorry to hear that. You don’t deserve to be down. I don’t know what you’re going through, but the best thing I can say is always know there’s happiness to be found for you wherever you may be. And when you find that happiness, whatever you may do to achieve it, you will even forget about your hard times you had, and see how much of a precious gift life is.

If possible, I would love to continue talking to you about movies and video games. I have enjoyed my time interacting with you in those topics. I like reading what you have to say about some of your thoughts.

Actually, I wish I can talk about them to you elsewhere, like Discord, because I might be over posting on Nintendo Life threads and not giving others a chance to talk, haha.

@PeterTomlan86 Thanks for your kind words. Yeah... I'm not exactly having the best time now and I'm hoping things will get better. While I do remember a few of the other difficult times I've had in the past, I am certainly glad I made it through them.

It's 1 October 2025 here.
Countdown to my birthday on the day before Halloween and I will be 41 years old.
I will make my Chibi drawing about myself in two version.
One is my birthday version and the other one is Halloween version.
For 41st birthday I will choose Japanese cuisine as my birthday drawing theme as I have chosen dessert and sweets all the time for the birthday cake.
I started from my 37th birthday with a cupcake, 38th with Orange cupcake, 39th with Strawberry Shortcake, 40th with another cupcake.
For Halloween drawing, I choose Frankenstein for year 2021, Wizard for year 2022, Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon) for year 2023, Circus Ring Master for year 2024.
For this year 2025, I will choose Evil Twin that appeared from Evil Mirror for my Halloween drawing. The Evil Twin that I will draw is basically mimicking my cartoon Chibi guy with outfits from my 40th birthday anniversary but he will have evil red eyes and fang, comes out from Evil Mirror.

EVERYONE I AM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW! Schaff's Zelda ranking finally came out and Monte, the character that I literally started a #VoteForMonte campaign for, got 13 votes! Thank you to anyone who voted for him!

You're welcome. All righty... I'm admittedly a little worried about putting stuff like that on my signature, just so you know. I used to have my Switch friend code on my signature, but I kept getting friend requests from random people, so I don't put it on my signature anymore. Any fellow Samsung phone users here? I need some help.

My Samsung phone just recently got the One UI 7 update, and I absolutely hate it. I specifically want to ask about one part of the update, involving the clock app. I have several preset timers that I can start whenever for things like gaming and exercising. Before the update, whichever preset timer the blue circle was on would automatically play that preset timer when I pressed start. But now, it will play whatever timer was last activated instead. I'll give an example that happened.

I play video games with a 1 hour timer. No problems yet. Next, I decide to do my exercises routine, which uses several 1 minute timers. In the past, if the blue circle was already on the 1 minute timer, I could just start it, no problems. But now, it will start the 1 hour timer instead, unless I tap the 1 minute preset timer again to unselect it, then reselect it again, which means each time that scenario happens, that is two extra taps that weren't needed before, which is really frustrating since it's throwing me off 🤬.

So now I'm looking for an alternative clock app from either the Google App Store or Samsung Galaxy Store. I'm specifically looking for one that is as similar to the Samsung Clock as possible but without the annoying change, doesn't have ads, and is free, and haven't found one yet after already trying several that all have their own issues. Does anyone else use a third party clock app that fits what I'm looking for? If you do, could you also list the developer since most of the clock apps on the App Stores just have generic names like "clock"?

@ShieldHero ooh, I don't have a clock app but if you find a good file explorer app please lmk! The one on my phone (Moto G Play) is awful lol. By the way, does anyone here use Nova Launcher? I love it, but apparently it's being discontinued! 😢
