@Ryu_Niiyama A month before MJ died he was about to do a residency at the O2 Arena in London, it was something silly like 40 dates. I wasn't a fan but I was gonna see if I could get a free tix to see him as the job I was working at the time had connections for one of the corporate VIP boxes there. I would have probably felt guilty for getting one as it deprives the chance for an uber fan to get the tix. It is odd when I get tickets for a special/in demand show like the times when I saw Arcade Fire and Green Day play small club shows instead of the normal 60,000+ mega shows they do I questioned if I'm a big enough fan of them for such an one off show even though I've been listening to them for years and gone to several of their shows before, I will then see some silly billy in the crowd with their back to the band talking the entire time and think to myself I'm actually there to enjoy this unlike some so I should stop with the inferiority complex.
Yeah live music is like a magic trick, an artist on stage expressing and connecting with a crowd, having a room full of people with energy and electricity in the air, people from all walks of like coming together to share the same living in the moment experience as well as making memories and stories for life. Concerts were probably the things I missed most during the covid lockdowns and nowadays an experience like live music is even more special when so many things like movies and music in general have become disposable and no longer connect with people in the same way.
@Sunsy No problem at all, just take a pic or three when you're up for it. As for amiibo, I don't commonly see them in stores anymore, at least not Walmart. I'm sure GameStop still has a few on display, but I haven't been to my local one for several months. That might change with the TTYD Switch port release though; I'll probably preorder in store.
Indeed. Yeah, I see them in Target once in a while, but outside of that, I don't see them sold much anymore. Last time I was in Target, it was the Hello Kitty Animal Crossing cards (I'm still mind blown at how poorly handled it was when the cards first launched).
@Sunsy Happy belated Mario Day. I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Super Mario 64 to celebrate. There was an online tournament for MK8D that I got to play in, and I played as Peach in that game. I did pretty decent in the tournament overall.
Yeah... to be honest, I kinda like my new username more now. If only the Switch's usernames could be longer though! Maybe for the Switch 2. I also have myself as an Animal Crossing villager as my profile picture!
Yeah. I think I had it in... 1999, I wanna say? I'm guessing that year since Pokemon was the first anime I saw, I saw that before checking out Sailor Moon. Oh gotcha, I don't think I've seen the anime you've seen. I've also been seeing Black Clover and Trigun in more recent years. Gosh, I didn't even know there was a Phantasy Star Online 2 anime. Didn't PSO2 come out on Xbox a few years ago? I know the first one's on Dreamcast.
That's cool, I've heard of FaceBall 2000. It does look like a quirky little game, lol.
Ok gotcha, yeah I'm not too huge into the stuff that free-to-play games usually does. Glad you're enjoying the game nonetheless. I'm guessing they want you to buy Ariel, huh? Good thing you got Prince Eric at least, as well as getting Anna and Elsa.
Sounds like a good Mario day to me. All I did was wear a Peach shirt and play Mario Kart. Even did a few online races with my friend.
Glad you like it. If you think about it, Nintendo always capped their usernames at 10 letters, it was even like that on the DS. Though some 3rd party games did do longer names. I remember this being the case in GoldenEye Wii and Call of Duty on Wii.
Alrighty, that's an old VHS tape then. I don't think I've seen Sailor Moon VHS tapes as a kid, it was always Cartoon Network for it. Yup Phantasy Star Online 2 did release on Xbox and PC, I've played it on PC. It was out longer in Japan, but I'm glad Sega and Microsoft finally brought it over to the west. There was an anime for it, while it's not dubbed, it has been subbed by US dubbing company Sentai Filmworks.
It is, it's like a maze where you run around shooting smileys with balls in 3D. It's still a cool achievement since it was working on an old 1989 Game Boy.
Yup, they put Ariel behind the Golden Pass, their version of a battle pass. I've gotten battle passes before in Paladins, but they're not fun. You grind to unlock everything, and it takes A LOT of playing. I like the free pass more, since you get some rewards, but not pressured into completing it as much as you can since you didn't pay for anything. Thanks, I like Frozen, so I pretty much main Anna.
I saw these Trolls “pom poms” blind boxes while out shopping, and thought they looked neat so I got one.
Got Bruce
It’s truly a massive pompom.
Nice, I have yet to even see one of these. The most blind bags I get are usually just the Trolls Mineez. I did take a trip out to Target a few weeks ago to pick up some stuff for the house, but I did get a Trolls Band Together Golden Book, as well as a few Mineez, and managed to get Branch, Clay, and Bridget.

@ThatZeldaNerd Just grabbed it on a sale this week. Seems like a good game. It has great platforming and a lot of people have said good things about it.
Watching a livestream on YouTube of someone playing Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis on GBA, and I'm reminded, I'm actually really good at this port of Sonic thanks to playing it so much in the past. Even with the framerate problem and wonky physics, I usually can beat it easily within an hour.
Unpopular opinion, but I still like this port. Gave me Sonic 1 on the go long before the DS, 3DS, and mobile versions existed.
