Out of curiosity, what method are you using? (Like how are you going about learning it)

@card-crunch78 I love Duolingo, I recently learned the Cyrillic alphabet with it! If you're ever interested in trying other methods, I highly recommend Tofugu, I don't super remember the contents of their overall guide, but I like their kana practice to see if there are any kana that I happened to not have seen in a while (mnemonics are good too) and Wanikani is kind of more formal Duolingo. (I'm not quite sure whether this unsolicited recommendation is appropriate or not, but honestly at this point I know more about methods to learn Japanese than I do Japanese and all I can do is hope I might somehow help someone with it)

Hi everyone. I don't wanna sound down but I've been going through a difficult time... though I'm not sure if I wanna go into detail since it's personal. Hopefully things will get better soon. I did preorder Princess Peach: Showtime, at least, so I'll enjoy it when it comes in the mail.
@Tyranexx Yeah, I used to have that game, but I don't have it anymore. I don't remember if I sold it or not. I do have my old PSP somewhere, but it's broken. I used to have a few other games for it, but I've always been way more into Nintendo's handhelds. Didn't get a PS Vita as a result. On a side note, and it's just my personal opinion, but I don't think that cutesy art style fits Mega Man too well. Always imagined Mega Man as a "cooler" character and series... but Powered Up is a good game overall. It does have different level layouts compared to the NES original, and I think it has a challenge mode as well.
Good to hear you're getting better and that you're able to work from home. I love a good walk, particularly when it's nice and sunny out... good way to get some vitamin D in us, too. (Preferably if it's not blazing hot out, like during the summertime.) Oh gotcha that's understandable... good thing they make candles that have fruit scents in this case! Same with anything non-scented, like the tealights we have. My mom has always been a huge fan of candles and I always make sure to get good ones.
Ah yeah about the shooting games you've mentioned... I've sometimes found my aim being off when I play Splatoon, for example. Particularly during modes like Turf War and Ranked Battles, where you're also trying to splat opponents. I've gotten pretty good with the S-Blast '92 and '91 though (they're the Super Scope weapons in Splatoon 3), those weapons have a slow fire rate, but they have high attack power and it's real satisfying to splat opponents with them. I've gotten a good amount of splats from across the matches I used them on too, so in a way they help me get a better aim. That might also be because I have a slight bias toward the SNES, lol... it was the first console I've played after all. Yeah, probably best to listen to Splatoon's music at your leisure because of that. I've found that it can be easy to lose concentration while you're listening to music and working at the same time. That's certainly happened to me, lol.
Lol, my child self was similar in that regard, where I would just watch animated stuff instead of live-action. Animated movies and cartoons certainly left me an impact as a kid, they're just so colorful and fun! Before watching the movie itself, one of my old Disney sing-along tapes had a song from Mary Poppins... I still remember what it was, it was A Spoonful of Sugar. I got nostalgic when the movie went to that song, lol... and I love that song anyway! I do like fantasy settings so I'd like to give The Black Cauldron a watch sometime. That's cool, late 90s huh? I don't recall coming across that movie back then. Probably because I was still young, and I was more exposed to anything that was contemporary.
@Sunsy Nice, that's cool. Just curious, did you play in the Mario Kart tournament, or was that just casual races? I happened to play as Peach in the tournament, though I did pick Mario when I was playing SMB Wonder.
Yeah. Same thing with the Miis, where names would also just be 10 characters long. And I don't like shortening my usernames either... I like them all perfect, lol. It's why I'm still MarioLover on the Switch, and in Splatoon 3. I go by D-Pad in Animal Crossing: New Horizons though... my ACNH friends, as well as my animal villagers, would also call me D.
Ah yeah that's cool that Sega and Microsoft brought over PSO2, it's a game I wouldn't mind at least trying when I get a chance. Interesting that it has an anime of its own... if I recall correctly, Persona 5 got its own anime as well.
Oh gotcha, yeah those battle passes don't sound fun. They sound like there's a lot of busywork involved, and I wouldn't do too well with that sort of thing. I get overwhelmed easily in general. Anytime, Anna's always been my favorite character from Frozen. I do like Olaf too, and Elsa is a pretty cool character as well... no pun intended, lol.
@card-crunch78 Same here... I can't stand being depressed either. Nobody likes being depressed.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! β€οΈ
@card-crunch78 Ah, that makes sense, I feel like that's a way to go about language learning that most people don't really consider, instead never dipping a toe in as they're thinking they need to make a huge commitment to fluency. (kudos)
