@Princess_Lilly I kinda gave out when I made a comment and then got a sarcastic reply. I was just saying no one need feel bad about having a different opinion. Do people need to hear it? No, but maybe idk I validated somebody? Not sure why it was such an issue with them though lol so I just deleted it to save trouble. Not to mention somebody calling you toxic for having an opinion. So in short I regret commenting on it and it went the route I knew it would.

@EaglyBird same, I regret doing so lol. They say it’s just a normal conversation but there’s so much aggression being pointed at a single person each time lol.

Idk, seems like this issue is all in your head bro. Ok jokes aside Some people really do act like they’re being unfaithful to Nintendo if they like any other first party lol. Like is it really crazy to imagine that a game people have been waiting years for is selling well compared to a (specifically 2d Mario) franchise that just decided to switch things up, Apparently it is lol.

@Snatcher Ok then. My mom said she's getting me a record player (Dunno why she told me but yee) so I'm excietd for that. And my aunt is baking me a strawberry cake, which I know is hard since she can't use a box mix cause allergies. My "party" is on the 11 of November, and on the 6th, my actual birthday, I'm hanging out with Seif and ma classmate Dezi is VRChat, which I'm VERY excietd for. SO yeah, this will probably be my best birthday of so far

I just find it funny how people take Spider-Man 2 being good as an insult to Mario Wonder.

Honestly I haven’t seen much crossover between the two games anywhere else. I haven’t seen much on Spider-Man 2 since I’m trying to avoid spoilers. And for Wonder, Reddit is well, Reddit. A lot of what I saw is fans saying that it just doesn’t give off the same feeling as the older Mario games do. Still good, but not the same. I’m sure that them playing those games as kids vs Wonder as an adult did nothing to influence that though.

I will be 39 years old very soon.
I felt 20 years ago was like yesterday and to see everything that changed after 20 years later, it made me want to revisit the era 20 years ago as I hate to live in this 2020's era where the art, music and video games culture completely became worse every year compared with the stuffs during early 2000's era.

@Snatcher to be honest I kinda did say it in a pretty apprehensive manner, and I kinda realized that later. So I understand that people would think Im toxic, because I probably was. Its something I am still working on.

Animal Crossing and Doom are only a natural crossover and one would be crazy to not make the connection.

And yes, thumbnails suck. I got spoiled on how a character in spiderman dies because of some idiot farming views.

@EaglyBird Indeed, sometimes PlayStation fanboys can be really comical. The console wars can be really really bad, that sometimes you just have to laugh. I remember some PlayStation fanboy on YouTube actually said no one is talking about or cares about Starfield. As bad as it sounds, I laughed since a lot of people were anticipating that game. It's really silly.

Given this is a Nintendo website, there's no doubt the comments section will attract some of the fanboys (apologies for lack of a better term). It's always taken to the extreme. Why not just enjoy games?

The Game Awards is something I like watching, for the reveals and such, if a game I like wins, cool, if not it doesn't change how I feel about said game. I voted Sonic Mania in the 2017 Game Awards, it lost to a Mario game, does this change me loving the game, it doesn't.

Will admit, I did have my moment with the 2021 Academy Awards, really did not like them not nominating Trolls World Tour, my favorite movie from 2020. Even I'm not perfect obviously. I had to learn not to take it so seriously, and I still enjoyed the movie at the end of the day. Nowadays, I can't understand why the cartoon community takes it so seriously. It's like they care about the reputation of animated movies, rather than enjoy them. Once you stop taking awards so seriously, and enjoy what you like, it's much healthier.

It's all entertainment, just enjoy it. Any fandom, gaming, cartoons, whatever, has their extreme fans. The best we can do is maybe get a laugh out of it, and just continue to enjoy what we like. Not to mention things get pretty messy when people start resorting to personal attacks.
