@Zuljaras yeah, I mean I just wanted to say that in my opinion one of these two games is not a masterpiece (because I dont think a game that isnt truly revolutionary should be called like that in a willy nilly manner) but it kinda looked like I was attacking someone

Even though to be honest I am pretty mad that western AAAs - a very niche group of games for a very specific type of gamers - is held on the pedestal by the media, and everything else is maliciously omitted. Its like every major Western vg outlet just became an advertisment engine.

The title I bashed on probably didnt deserve it though

Amazing yes, masterpiece is just another category for timeless games that will never be forgotten

For me a masterpieces are Half-Life, StarCraft: Broodwar, WarCraft III, Castlevania SotN, Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

And you can see how subjective that is and I am sure many people will not agree on this list

@Zuljaras on one hand yes, but strangely, I agree with almost all of your list, never played Starcraft 1 though.

I am really compelled with Wonder and I feel like I should wait until the emotions mellow down a bit before saying anything, but to me it is a marvelous game, definitely wouldnt disagree if someone said its a masterpiece. Not in the top 10 games of all times but definitely one of the best games in the last 5 years or so

Okay, I have made a decision regarding my persona. You know how I usually draw him with three tails (because I didn't want to draw and color 9 of them despite him being related to the kitsune spirit)? Well, I've been thinking, maybe I should draw him with ONE tail. But still be related to the kitsune because of my love of Japanese culture.

@HenryKibble why not 4? It is a recurring theme in Japanese mythology that 9 tailed foxes (only the good ones though) have further rank ups, their tails merge together until they have only 4 but ULTRA FLUFFY ones

@Princess_Lilly I'm more into kumiho/gumiho, 9-tailed foxes in Korean folklore & huli jings in Chinese folklore. don't know why though.

I’m not Japanese myself (just Irish/Czech…bleh) but I do like the idea of the Kitsune being more benevolent (like a playful trickster who doesn’t mean any real harm).

I do have an aunt and cousin who are Japanese though.
