@EaglyBird Indeed, sometimes PlayStation fanboys can be really comical. The console wars can be really really bad, that sometimes you just have to laugh. I remember some PlayStation fanboy on YouTube actually said no one is talking about or cares about Starfield. As bad as it sounds, I laughed since a lot of people were anticipating that game. It's really silly.
Given this is a Nintendo website, there's no doubt the comments section will attract some of the fanboys (apologies for lack of a better term). It's always taken to the extreme. Why not just enjoy games?
The Game Awards is something I like watching, for the reveals and such, if a game I like wins, cool, if not it doesn't change how I feel about said game. I voted Sonic Mania in the 2017 Game Awards, it lost to a Mario game, does this change me loving the game, it doesn't.
Will admit, I did have my moment with the 2021 Academy Awards, really did not like them not nominating Trolls World Tour, my favorite movie from 2020. Even I'm not perfect obviously. I had to learn not to take it so seriously, and I still enjoyed the movie at the end of the day. Nowadays, I can't understand why the cartoon community takes it so seriously. It's like they care about the reputation of animated movies, rather than enjoy them. Once you stop taking awards so seriously, and enjoy what you like, it's much healthier.
It's all entertainment, just enjoy it. Any fandom, gaming, cartoons, whatever, has their extreme fans. The best we can do is maybe get a laugh out of it, and just continue to enjoy what we like. Not to mention things get pretty messy when people start resorting to personal attacks.
@Snatcher It'll take me a bit depending on how much I favor AA vs. Super Mario Bros. Wonder. HLTB has each game in the trilogy at around 20 hours with a bit of variation in there. In addition, I'm very busy this week - this is my only chill evening, which means chores sadly - and my haunted house activities are occupying a good chunk of my weekends this month too. I can see myself completing case 2 later this evening if I have the mental capacity though. Dear Phoenix has landed himself in the defendant's seat because Redd White is a [insert word(s) of choice here].
@Sunsy XD Yes, that scene is in the first one! One of many funny moments. It's still the best horror parody franchise IMO.
I'm sure I'd like Dracula Dead and Loving It, especially since Mel Brooks is involved. X3 I did see your mention in the movie thread; I don't currently own a Roku but will definitely try to give that movie a watch soon. Nice spread of games you're playing too, in fact I've seen you talk about Monster Bash elsewhere I believe. Might have to look that one up if it's very short. I do like the occasional retro DOS game.

I’ve spent way to much on the game, I should really just pick a platform and stick to one. But now that I can play games on PC, It seems like I’m just hurting my experience by not playing Minecraft on there.

My experience with the "modern" consoles is the exact opposite
The only thing I do not like about the PS5 is how HUGE it is. Other than that, it is fine.
The worst Sony console is the PS3, hands down! Everything about it is a mistake

@HenryKibble those videos are made for people around the 16 to 17+ age kinda inbetween, maybe not smg4 but murder drones and Digital circus, those are there demographics they said as much, so no your not because if they wanted to do so why shouldn’t you have a specific demographic you want to cater too? Answer you should or could, don’t have to but if you want to you’re free to do so, adventure time grew up with there’s.

@Snatcher I watch a lot of “Spidey and his Amazing Friends”, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” and “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” on Disney Junior. And on Netflix I’ve been binging on “Starbeam” and “Ridley Jones”.

That’s personally what I expected. But considering not everyone is like me and hates school with a passion, the amount of hoops colleges put you through has to be even more frustrating for someone who wants to be there.
