Dayum sounds serious. I remember when Rushia got doxxed, and I remember when I read about Mano Aloe graduating because she was doxxed (and she was just a devastated kid back then). Fans are very very creepy sometimes

I didn’t think everyone would be mad about Mario wonder not getting a 10/10. I mean some arnt mad they are pointing out hypocrisy?? I think, but other then that I thought people didn’t want Nintendolife to be biased fanboys lol.

I will say, the review read like a 10 and the cons seemed like they were just there to have something to complain about.. Kinda like when your writing an essay and need to add some fluff to hit the page limit. It doesn't add anything to the essay, but you need it to fulfill a requirement.

But it is sad how anything less than perfect is seen as a disapointment. A 9 is still an incredible game and basically the same quality wise as a 10.

I hate peer reviews. You always inevitably get assigned someone who did the assignment wrong, and then have to find fifteen different ways to explain how they didn't do the assignment right.

@Snatcher If you're wondering, I'm doing better today. I haven't taken drugs since this morning and I feel great, and it's already almost 7!

@blindsquarel It does kinda feel like that I agree. Like difficulty can be a con I guess but it’s a Mario game, though I don’t think difficulty should make the game lose a point, but then the con where “it didn’t do anything groundbreaking” comes in which is such an odd one to me, it’s a Mario game, it’s a working formula.

And look I’m not saying that’s not something that can be complained about but like you said the review read just fine and then bam the cons kinda slap you in the face for no reason lol.

The point about the game not being groundbreaking was the worst critique. Difficulty, while subjective, is a fair point. But Wonder is being praised as the best and most innovative 2D Mario since world, yet its not groundbreaking enough? What did the reviewer want Nintendo to do, have Mario fight demons with a gun and make him curse every few minutes?
