At least you get a variety. I get something related to trucks, medical ads, or if I'm lucky maybe a hoodie. Can't forget the movie trailors, but those are few and far between.

I know this is my fault for trying to find a Venom wallpaper, but I might have been spoiled about who he is. Don't know for sure since I just saw the title when scrolling down, but this kinda sucks if it is true.

@HenryKibble Me too, honestly, I hate any sort of confrontation. It doesn't really happen here much. I do remember someone tried to argue me over GOG not being DRM-free, and kept moving the goalpost and spreading misinformation on how GOG games require Internet (reality, they don't, you can install and play them without an Internet connection, just back up the offline installer after downloading). That's the only time I ever had some sort of conflict here.
Most of the time, this place is pretty good and don't see much arguments thanks to the rules here.
@Princess_Lilly Alrighty, if you ever do, Scare Master is a fun episode. Yeah, it did branch out with A New Generation and Make Your Mark, but that can be enjoyed on its own. It really takes place 1000 years after Friendship Is Magic. I do love the nods those two make to the G4 series.

No, but that is still my prediction on who ends up being Venom. The way the video was titled makes it seem to be inaccurate. ( best way I can describe it without it being easy to figure out who it is.)

Loved the eclipse. Except the part where I didn’t plug my camera battery in all the way so I got a few awful smartphone pics before I gave up and just observed normally (with my telescope and filter). I defo gotta save up for a solar scope. But glad I got to add another rare (without traveling) observation to my history.
I am so glad you got to see this! Sadly I live where only about 50-55% of the eclipse was visible, and the weather decided to be very uncooperative via clouds, wind, and a shower now and then. Good news is I'm very close to the path of totality for the total eclipse in April, so there is that....If the weather cooperates.
@Sunsy I like scary stuff as long as it involves monster movies, and I'm not bothered by the serial killer stuff either as long as it's the psychological kind; I normally find those films way too predictable - I was laughing by the end of Halloween: Resurrection - but some like Silence of the Lambs are very good. I'm not into blood and gore just for the sake of it like with the Texas Chainsaw films. I don't get into too many horror games for the same reasons. I do enjoy the House of the Dead games in arcades and have played the hilariously campy Typing of the Dead on PC before. XD
I've heard Higurashi is very good, sadly the runtime has kept me from grabbing it. So far the only game that would fit the bill is another VN, Doki Doki Literature Club. Those types of VNs REALLY aren't my thing, but I knew just enough about it going in that all isn't as it seems at first.
@MarioLover92 Most dark rides are suitable for all ages, unless they're deemed too scary - or I suppose too romantic. XD Technically the It's A Small World ride at Disney qualifies as one too, though it is by boat. Same as Pirates of the Caribbean. Florida is slightly closer (though not by much) and cheaper for me to get to as well. Japan is on my bucket list to travel to someday. Getting to Japan would be quite pricey, doubly so to try to barge into any theme parks there I'm sure! Plus I'm sure I'd need a translator for areas off the beaten path since I'd like to experience some nature too while there.
That acting class sounds like it was pretty fun, especially if you were able to dress up as a Mario character. I'd like to make costumes on occasion, but I don't think I have enough creativity or patience for it...or the space to store some of the materials.

@Tyranexx Yeah I am gonna have to travel for the april one. Still trying to figure out the logistics for that….
Sorry you had bad weather. I was supposed to go to my local astronomy group’s meet up but I had a clear view from my apartment balcony so I stayed home. Was nice because I gave an impromptu class about the eclipse when a few neighbors walked by and asked what I was doing lol. But yeah saw the Venus transits and the mercury transit, and I have another 3 solar eclipses (and two lunar ones) under my belt (first one I got to see 100% though) and I was fortunate to be in undergrad working the observatory when Mars was super close in ‘03. Such basic phenomena but so very magical to witness. Puts everything in perspective. What a time to be alive!! We will have to compare notes in April!

@Tyranexx Alrighty, for me, I just wouldn't be able to tolerate horror stuff like that. It's cool you enjoy it. I do like the more family friendly side though. Stuff like Hocus Pocus and the Addams Family. I believe Typing of the Dead is based on the second game in the series. I always loved how the House of the Dead series always have that "bad movie" feel to it. I use to play it with light guns on Dreamcast, but light guns don't work on TV, so the Wii copy of the game with a Wii remote will do. I do remember playing it in an arcade a few times.
Higurashi is great, it can be scary, but the mystery makes playing the games worth it. Doki Doki Literature Club is what got me interested in trying other visual novels. The only other ones I've played are the Parascientific Escape games on 3DS, another good mystery series. Shame they can't be bought anymore.
@HenryKibble GOG stands for Good Old Games, it's a PC digital storefront that sells classic and some modern games without DRM (or copy protection in simpler terms). If you haven't noticed, a good chunk of people here really don't like digital only games, hence why someone tried to argue me over it.
Edit: I find it amusing after I posted this, I saw the GOG logo in an ad on here, lol.
@EllaTheQueen6 Dang, that's rough. I wasn't feeling too good yesterday but thankfully it was just one of my random one-day illnesses, hopefully you feel better soon.
