I wish people didn’t shame me for choosing to stay single.

@Princess_Lilly Exactly, that should have been the logical choice from the get go. Corporations speaking out about social issues is one thing but making comments about an ongoing war is a whole other can of worms and companies should never comment about it at all. It can get political very quickly and the relationship between corporations and governments is murky as it is. Especially in CDPR’s case given that Poland is one of the most important countries in the Russo-Ukrainian war. The contents of the translation will definitely be patched but idk if they’ll bother to comment for that reason.

In this case, and every case for that matter, there’s a big difference between exercising freedom of speech and abusing it to get away with hate speech. Plus CPDR is 50% public, meaning their actions will be rewarded or punished directly by way of share prices. It is never in a company’s interest to just say whatever they want.

Short hair is superior it’s much less of a hassle. Also it’s not normal for your hair to start greying at 15?

Having been on both extreme ends of the spectrum it really depends on how scrupulous one is and if they're even capable of handling longer hair. The reason I had it cut so much in the past is because I wasn't maintaining it very well and as a kid longer hair caused my scalp to become oily, hence acne.

For me personally I find longer hair nice as a matter of self-expression, especially when it gets to a length where you can try things with it. Tying, braids, buns, yadda yadda. But I was a pretty good competitive swimmer and stuffing it into a cap was the most painful part about it by far. Plus more materials to use up per shower.

@TheJGG Although yes I use a lot of conditioner, I lvoe my hair. And it's really thick and wavy and fluffy but it's not hard to brush thankfully. I take good care of my hair (the fact I murder it with hair dye every few months does not count)

Huh I’m a bit confused as to why was I tagged there. But whenever I let my hair grow just a little it becomes the game of “the 101 ways you can pull on your hair”. So I very much prefer to keep it on the shorter side. It’s a lot less painful.

@Eel Oh yeah, my daily life consists of chairs yanking out my hair. I used to like my hair short cause I was a little girl who couldn't brush hair and short hair was easier to take care of, now I know how to brush and take care of my hair though, so keeping it long, although losing some on chairs everyday, doesn't bother me

@Eel You asked if he was going to visit Oz, so Eagly made a joke about him visiting your mother

@TheJGG well honestly, this is speaking about social matters, and genocide driven war is not exception. There are many games condemning past conflicts, why should anyone refrain from speaking up when it actually matters? If one of the most important objectives is to prevent past atrocities from happening in the future, drawing water into one's mouth when the atrocity actually repeats is counterproductive. Nevertheless, the situation is pretty odd, since it's not the official statement.

Also, I don't think it could worsen the international or corporational relationships anymore, as russia's relationship with pretty much anyone is nonexistent. And it's not a good market to be on.

The problem is that they already commented on it. They apologized, said that it's not their statement etc. What they should have done would be - "mistakes in Ukrainian subs to be patched in the next release". And that's it.

I also don't think there is any ground to call it hate speech. It's not based on any factor other than the fact that they are absolutely terrible beings and are being called out as such. Let us call a criminal a criminal.
