@DiamondCore Like the people who think the clouds formed by the Halberd in one cutscene of “Subspace Emissary” were foreshadowing unlockable characters, including Miss Piggy. (Seriously, what’s with the demand for playable versions of characters that weren’t game characters originally?) Or the fact that on “Battlefield” in Ultimate, people claimed that Rayman was trapped in that weird ice on the stage and somehow thawing it will free him and make him playable.
@HenryKibble waitwaitwait, people though MISS PIGGY from muppets OF ALL CHARACTERS would be in smash brawl? bro I can’t 😭

@TheJGG apparently some translator put anti nazi quotes in the latest Cyberpunk patch which inclueds Ukrainian language, namely instead of "a**holes" characters say "rusnia" which is a derogatory term used on nazi russians due to the invasion. Also, there are some allegories to the events like the Snake Island - instead of saying "gtfo Dodge city" one character says "gtfo in the same direction as the ship", etc.
Unfortunately, CDPR started apologizing and saying that it doesn't represent their views.
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@Princess_Lilly Hmm, that sounds like a slippery slope, especially because CDPR is a public company that has also received funding from the Polish government. When you’ve had that kind of aid you’re already liable for staying politically neutral.
Out of curiosity, to you why’s it bad that they apologised in this case?
@TheJGG well, from my understanding, Poland has always been an extremely anti - nazi country, be it Germany or Russia. Political neutrality is one thing, but criticising current political events should always be allowed due to freedom of expression. I know that this is not the official CDPR's stance, but once the milk got spilled, they should have just patch it without mentioning it to the public. That way they would have stayed neutral.
@EllaTheQueen6 you're already planning a family? I haven't even planned dinner yet. But house is a great investment. Not only is it your HQ, your place to stay, the place that pretty much defines your commute times etc., it's also one of the investments that will never go under. It won't lose value, nobody will steal it, there will always be demand for housing.
So yeah, I think a house is great not because of the family, but because it's just a powerful asset in life. So buy a nice one. The one with mountain range view, like in Switzerland Alps. The one with 2 floors, with a cozy kitchen and a nice garden.
@Princess_Lilly A ncie house would be nice. With a big kitchen and a basement (I've never had a basement so that's a luxury to me)
Also, even without a family, a house would be great.

@Princess_Lilly Exactly, that should have been the logical choice from the get go. Corporations speaking out about social issues is one thing but making comments about an ongoing war is a whole other can of worms and companies should never comment about it at all. It can get political very quickly and the relationship between corporations and governments is murky as it is. Especially in CDPR’s case given that Poland is one of the most important countries in the Russo-Ukrainian war. The contents of the translation will definitely be patched but idk if they’ll bother to comment for that reason.
In this case, and every case for that matter, there’s a big difference between exercising freedom of speech and abusing it to get away with hate speech. Plus CPDR is 50% public, meaning their actions will be rewarded or punished directly by way of share prices. It is never in a company’s interest to just say whatever they want.
Having been on both extreme ends of the spectrum it really depends on how scrupulous one is and if they're even capable of handling longer hair. The reason I had it cut so much in the past is because I wasn't maintaining it very well and as a kid longer hair caused my scalp to become oily, hence acne.
For me personally I find longer hair nice as a matter of self-expression, especially when it gets to a length where you can try things with it. Tying, braids, buns, yadda yadda. But I was a pretty good competitive swimmer and stuffing it into a cap was the most painful part about it by far. Plus more materials to use up per shower.
@TheJGG Although yes I use a lot of conditioner, I lvoe my hair. And it's really thick and wavy and fluffy but it's not hard to brush thankfully. I take good care of my hair (the fact I murder it with hair dye every few months does not count)

Huh I’m a bit confused as to why was I tagged there. But whenever I let my hair grow just a little it becomes the game of “the 101 ways you can pull on your hair”. So I very much prefer to keep it on the shorter side. It’s a lot less painful.
@Eel Oh yeah, my daily life consists of chairs yanking out my hair. I used to like my hair short cause I was a little girl who couldn't brush hair and short hair was easier to take care of, now I know how to brush and take care of my hair though, so keeping it long, although losing some on chairs everyday, doesn't bother me
