You can also try kawaiiNihongo - this app teaches you the basics much better since it's limiting vocabulary and showing you grammar and what comes when and WHY. If I didn't complete KN, I wouldn't have known half of the stuff that happens in later (unit 30-40) of Duo.

Also, you can buy a book or two. "Genki" are extremely good, but extremely expensive. I recommend them.

That is a nice wholesome phrase, who did you have to use it on?

@Princess_Lilly I used the phrase on Seef. He's been really depressed lately and I was just talking to him. He told me not to worry about him because I have enough on my plate. I then ranted about how he means the world tome and I have a right to worry about him. We just sorta talked for an hour about life and stuff. Eventually it became a talk about optimism and pessimism. He explained why he's such a pessimist and I explained why I'm such an optimist. Then he said "Well, you're around the age I lsot my optimism" so I said "I can't stop being an optimist someone has to take care of you"
Overall, I managed to make him feel at least a bit better. I just hope that one day, I can make him feel 100% better.

My brother was playing around with the AI features on Photoshop the other day. He asked it to expand a little drawing I made of a humming bird. For reference, my painting was just the little square in the center, with the bird's upper body and head, the rest is all AI.
